I hope that was a facetious post. We don't even know where the bannedposter lives or what his real background is. He could easily be a U.S.-based troll. There's been all kinds here over the years.
Facetious only in the sense that a reference to "Franks and Greeks" would perhaps have been too obscure. I've had a couple websites in the past where I would have been happy to pay that sort of hyperactive "troll", just to get the post count rolling. He seemed Greek to me.
I agree. His points were valid. And he was obviously prowhite. He should be allowed to voice his opinion. As long as he satisfies being prowhite and recognizing the caste system in sports, (providing he meets those criteria) he should be able to post. I also agree with some of the points he was making. There is a lot of truth in his comments. In any case, I am a relatively new poster on this site, so maybe Im incorrect in my observations. Whatever, no big deal. Edited by: BoxingFanUK
That guy was a fairly standard troll. He said a lot of what you guys wanted to hear in order to fit in and from there was actively disruptive and divisive. And what a howler his "book excerpts" were, I can't believe he actually was receiving compliments on them, although a few compliments were sarcastic most were genuine.
He wasn't just any troll. He was an attorney/author/Navy Seal troll. Only the best can last as long as he did.
I didn't follow this, except I thought Alexander 79's thing about editing Wikipedia was very naive. Just took a quick look: Alex.79: "...Really after all, now i am really curious, when your basketball team (12 blacks i think right?) played against 12 whites from Greece and Spain in the Olympics or world games, who are you rooting for after all? USA right?" No way! I don't think that anyone here would root for domestic Negroes vs. foreign White men or women. Edited by: werewolf
I have tried editing the wikipedia article several times. It always gets changed back. I don't think wikipedia should delve into issues like "Black Athletic Superiority" but it does. Here's my latest update to that ignorant entry(in bold) Mascot controversies Main article: Native American mascot controversy The use of Native American names and imagery for sports mascots is an issue of ongoing controversy in American sports, as Native American representatives have objected to such use without explicit negotiation and permission.[22] Also the use of Irish or Celtic names and imagery for sports mascots is an issue of ongoing controversy in American sports too, as Irish/Celtic representatives have never been negotiated with or asked for permission to use their names. I can have my fun too! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_athletic_superiority#.22Black_athletic_superiority.22
I'd be willing to allow teams to use Irish and Celtic names and imagery as long as the teams had all Irish and Celtic players.
I agree that Euro King, Spartan, and Alexander79 should not have been banned. However, I can understand how the relentless quarreling, the dishonesty, the name calling, the broken English, the putrid grammar, the cursing, the enigmatic “book,” the father-like lecturing, the creation of daily carbon-copy threads, the arrogant bragging, and the persistent anti-White American sentiments could be viewed as an embarrassment to CasteFootball. I’ll admit that I was almost exclusively impolite to all three of his personalities. Sometimes they deserved the ridicule, most of the time they didn’t. But yes, he was surely one of the most humorous, indignant and passionate posters we’ve had in years. Yeah, the excerpts from the “book” he posted were incredibly brief and featured fantastically generic information. It seemed as if he hurriedly typed them in order to satiate the growing doubt surrounding his alleged project. I wrote a tremendously facetious post “complimenting” the excerpts…and he erroneously believed that I was, in actuality, praising his work. He said something like…“Thanks man! I hope we can put our differences behind us!” After this, I felt genuinely guilty for disparaging him so frequently. He recently told a personal story about traveling to American cities with the Greek Navy. He supposedly witnessed the multitude always-repulsive interracial couples within several major cities and went back to the ship distraught and wept alone in his bunk. For whatever reason, I believe he was telling the truth. I hope that he can somehow apologize to Don and the moderators and be permitted to return.
I'll admit he was an interesting fellow and he did bring some excitement to the boards. Other than that he was clearly a psychopath. Don warned him many times about constantly calling out members and he never listened.
