Akron vs. Marshall is on ESPN 2 right now. Had heard of Akron's QB, Charlie Frye, as a possible NFL prospect but didn't know much about him, even his race, as what I had read said he was raw and could run so I figured he was black. He's white, and yes he can run. He just had a nice 31 yard touchdown run that included a couple of nice cuts.

Marshall is located in a state that's 98 percent white, but starts an all-black defense. On offense only the QB (Stan White) and four linemen are white. Edited by: Don Wassall

I just saw a great diving interception by AJ Hawk in
the last minute of the game when they were up by 6.
Awesome. And Hinkel of Iowa just caught a TD
pass.

Thanks for the updates guys. I haven't been able to watch any games today, but will try to see some of the Colorado State-Utah game later tonight. Did see some halftime highlights, and Chad Schroeder of Texas A&M had a 46 yard TD catch against Oklahoma. Don't know anything else about him yet, but he was way behind Oklahoma's backfield on the play.

In the Pitt Syracuse game today one of the announcers said he was sorry because he referred to Syracuse as the Orange"men"!He meant to say,Syracuse Orange.I guess men are being eliminated everywhere.

ASU!ASU!ASU!Andrew Walter broke John Elway's all time career touchdowns records as he threw for 415 yards tonight in the Sun Devils big win over Stanford.Matt Miller the speedster/track start had 2 touchdown catches
including the winner with 9 seconds left.Josh Golden/Sehorn Jr. had 2 interceptions to help seal the
victory. What a game!ASU is now 7-2 and they have been ranked most of the year.Walter just might be the closest
pure qb in the country. He has a style similar to the great Dan Marino.

Oregon State had USC on the ropes but couldn't quite knock off #1 Ranked Trojans.OSU lost 28-20 in a hard
fought game where as usual Mike Haas was the go to man.
Haas had 8 catches for 105 yards despite having USC's
best cornerbacks draped all over him.If Mike isn't hyped
as a Heisman Candidate next year, then something is
seriously wrong! He is better than B.Edwards of Michigan.
In another game,Byu won in a scorefest.A.Collie the stud
freshman receiver for the Cougars had 2 touchdowns in route to 95 yards receving. They only threw to him 3 times and he exploded for two touchdowns and almost hit
the century mark.Collie will be the man at receiver over the next several years like Staley was on the ground!BYU just needs to get him the ball 10-15 times a game and he will do the rest.
