Team USA won $1 million for the overall tournament victory. Its previous best

Devans, I have watched several of the USA men's volleyball games on ESPNU. They have looked very impressive against the teams I saw them play, Finland and Spain. I am Happy to see Lloy Ball still on the team and 6-9 Clay Stanley with his well over 40 inch vertical is a joy to watch. Anybody who believes the myth "White men can't jump" should watch these guys. All of them are incredible leapers because that is what they do all the time in indoor volleyball. Just Jump, Jump, Jump. Some of them can actually dunk a basketball on a 12 foot rim!

I watched some of those semifinals and the championship. Just a bunch of white men with 40 inch verticals. I guess they would get more respect if they were dunking basketballs instead of spiking volleyballs. Team volleyball is fun to watch when it is getting played by elite athletes at the highest level like those guys were playing. It was nice to see a mid west team like Ohio State(first time) make it to the semifinals in volleyball.
