I feel like Daukas gets strangled in this one even though he is the favorite. Aspinall has a lot of potential, it sucks they matched him with a legend instead of a hyped afflete. That one is a coin flip for me. Theres no shortage of Jihadist Russians in the UFC. It wasnt like that back in time, the normal fighting Ruskies must be facing the same discrimination as white athletes in the US for sports. Its just more noticeable as the original white ones have now aged out. Thankfull to see a Roganless broadcast tonight.
Aspinall with a powerful tackle and finished Arlovski with a rear naked choke. Daukaus just finished The Russian Veteran! Man he has good hands despite looking a bit doughy in the mid section! I like the guy! Unfortunately this might lead to a potential Daukaus V Aspinall Brawl.
I just cant figure out Daukaus ( its got to just be that terrible physique thats throwing me off). Aspinall, Romanov etc. should absolutely rag doll that Mulkey boy clone. He looks to be about 185lbs if lean and not carrying 25 lbs of loose skin. A real heavyweight gets a grip on him and its going to be ugly. yet somehow he will keep winning and I’ll keep eating crow.
People say physique is not a good indicator and point to Fedor, but Fedor still looked somewhat dense/strong, Daukas just looks obese with very little chest development, he may surprise. Daukas Vs. Aspinall... Don't know if there is a trend that the UFC makes white fighters fight each-other on purpose but I would prefer Aspinall/Daukas to fight the "affletes" If I had a choice instead of each-other. You always here blacks or mexicans say how they hate when two "brothers" or two mexicans fight.
That's the beauty of the fight game. I get a kick out if guys that don't have the traditional fighter look and still kick ass! BTW that Michael Chandler commercial they just aired made me nauseous. Hoping he gets destroyed his next bout.

Yup Blades was winning and looking great. I think Lewis was getting gassed but gotta watch out for Lewis til the last second!
