You would think that Lamas would have worked specifically on checking kicks after seeing Weidman's success vs Silva, knowing leg kicks are Aldo's bread and butter.

JDS had a much longer road before that, though. And Browne is only on a 3 fight win streak, before that he was KO'd. He looked terrible against Overeem, he kept throwing out teep kicks to the face and one finally landed because Overeem gassed from beating on him. I don't know what you can take out of the Barnett fight, Cain's takedowns are different.

Overeem fight shows hes able to recover and in his 3 fight win streak, they've all been knockouts of the night.

Dana White can't market him as a great black hope because despite all the stupid Hawaii stuff, his name is Travis Browne and he looks white.

Herb's the best in the business. Dana White said so.

Baugitonov has a real chance of defeating Johnson. And glad to see Iaquinta get the caste win. Other than that, a pedestrian card. The Lamas v. Aldo fight was a cure for insomnia. Mir and Overeem are both done as top fighters (more so with Mir who should retire). Varner got caught but it was a good scrap while it lasted.

Oh, and the usual Faber choke in a title fight. Yeah, it was a bad stoppage but Uriah didn't look too good either.
