at halftime, everything is happening as planned: barcelona are crushing ac milan
milan with 4 blacks and 1 arab
barcelona with 1 brazilian mestizo, the rest is all-white

barcelona's defence almost let them down (mascherano) but the black athlete mbaye niang couldn't score

messi scored the 2 goals

barcelona have to score 2 goals to be safe (so even if milan scores they'll still qualify
with the current result they are level and they would have to play prolongations
but if milan scores barcelona have to score 2 goals

but right now, it's a HUGE result for barcelona

The two key players: Messi with two goals for Barca; and Niang with a big miss for Milan.:icon_mrgreen:

AC milan's face change in 2 years:

barcelona's triumph tonight was so important from a racial point of view

we now have a second team in quarter finals that started 10 whites out of 11
and after the 1st leg i said that if barcelona didn't qualify then i would stop watching soccer for a year, so i'm glad they qualified

Our commentator - an Englishman whose name I did not catch - thought Dani Alves was Barca's weakest player. He seemed to believe this because many of Alves's crosses and passes from the wing to the box were inaccurate, thus wasting the time and effort involved in the long build-up leading to his cross/pass.

In general though, Barca's defending did not look good at all. I can see this weakness costing them the European Cup.

Niang's miss reminded me of Nocerino's goal for Milan last year at the Camp Nou:

i'm very proud about mbaye niang's progession as a black striker: a year ago he was a black clown from the french league: http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...lack-attackers?p=255506&viewfull=1#post255506

now he makes his team lose in a big profile champions league match:

congratulations mbaye

I would agree with him. Alves crosses were "quantity crosses", not "quality crosses". He would just cross without looking at the position of his teammates, hoping someone would get the ball anyway.
Barca defending at 3:0 was incredibly nervous. They need a cool central defender, with good passing skills (especially a good diagonal to the wingers), and some size possibly - i.e. a guythat can use the size in critical moments. I repeat, they should buy Matts Hummels. With him they would approach perfection.
Other than that, Barca and Messi were super-classy today. I am particularly impressed by the fact that most of their players were not only White, but came from their youth school.
Milan super disgusting, especially when they made the team even blacker by adding Robinho and Muntari into the mix. They haven't produced a good local player for almost a decade now. What's the point of rooting for such a team?

It doesn't surprise me though. You gave the stat that one on one chances are scored less than 50% of the time.

you're right, it could have happened to any player
i'm glad that it happened to this over rated clown :heh:
in this kind of situation it's hard not to blame the player who misses though
for example it happened to van persie who missed a one on one against AC milan in their come back (arsenal was close to get back after a 4-0 defeat in the first leg)

another stat i gave, and that not many people are aware of: it was about how most goals are scored less than 7 seconds after getting the ball back
3 out of barcelona's 4 goals were scored less than 7 seconds after getting the ball back
only the first goal was scored with a long passing sequence

tonight's matches:

malaga: 9 whites, 2 mixed brazilians

porto: 4 whites, the rest are mixed and black brazilians, black south americans, and black "europeans" (mangala and varela)

porto won the first leg with a goal that should have been ruled out (offside)

needless to say, i'm rooting 100% for malaga but it will be hard because UEFA doesn't like them (they alredy know that they won't be allowed to take part into next year's champions league) and they have few players on their roster (because they lack money)

in the other match arsenal needs to score at least 3 goals in munchen to qualify

It's too bad about Arsenal. They should have started Giroud upfront and Walcott on the right. He kept losing the ball in the middle. On the right he can just run past people and cross. They still almost tied it with Giroud's shot.

it's funny because in the second leg giroud started, and arsenal just scored an early goal, exactly like you said (reportedly, because i'm watchingt he other match, but a friend told me), with a cross by walcott for giroud who scored

a goal wrongfully disallowed for malaga!
incredible

I was watching the Arsenal match but I saw a replay of that. I was starting to think there was a UEFA conspiracy against Malaga but a good decision at the end in disallowing Porto's goal - the replay showed it was indeed offside. Good riddance to Porto.

Jenkisnon had a great tackle against Robben today on a breakaway. I wish I had a video of it. It's hard for me to tell how well defenders play on the whole, but I think he could be England's right back for years to come. He's only 20.

Arsenal started 9 whites, while Bayern had 3 black starters.

i think that i saw it
he came from the other side of the pitch and tackle while robben was shooting
i read everywhere that he did a great match
it's a shame that arsenal lost 3-1 in the first leg, they weren't that far to qualify, i still stand by what i said before the competition, they were the english team that could have gone the most far in that competition

now there are no disgusting teams left, what a great season in champions league
there's galatasaray but they won't go far and they are not that disgusting
then the teams with the most non-whites are PSG and bayern munchen, which are still very white (especially PSG because is very white for a french club)
the key matches were malaga-porto, dortmund shaktar, and barcelona-milan, now thanks to these matches there are no disgusting teams left

Go Malaga! In the Malaga-Porto match there was a lot of material for the "really bad defenders" thread, especially regarding Porto's black Brasilian goalkeeper Helton. First he fumbles the cross where Malaga scored the goal which was wrongly disallowed. Then the first goal from Malaga. Great shot, but what was he doing so far in front of the goal? Then the third goal - why didn't he try to intercept the corer cross? A good goalkeeper "owns" the six-yard box... Good riddance Porto indeed.
As for the Arsenal game, I was flabergasted how White arsenal was. I didn't watch, but Wenger supposedly played a team with a lot of reserves that did better than the titulars, although he should get rid of that ugly clown Gervinho. Of the teams left in the competition, Bayern is probably the most disgusting now...

the black players left in champions league by teams:

Barca: Alex Song (but never plays)
Real: Essien (never plays either)
Malaga: julio Baptista, also eliseu but he is injuried, i don't know if he'll be able to play
Dortmund: Santana (hummels seems to be injuried again, so he's likely to play?)
Galatasaray: Nounkeu, Drogba, Eboue,
Juve: Pogba, Anelka (never plays), Asamoah
PSG: Lucas, Sakho, Matuidi, Van der Wiel (doesn't play much)
Bayern: Dante, Alaba, Luiz Gustavo, Boateng

i'm going to be neutral for the rest of the competition, and enjoy what the white stars will come up with
(but if barcelona coud win it i wouldn't mind  )

the first leg of PSG-barcelona and juventus-bayern munchen plays tonight
i'm going to be neutral and just report if one of the few black players left in the competition (see my latest post just above) mess up something

something i didn't like was that ibrahimowicz's suspension was shortened so he could play the first leg in front of his public
it's ridiculous
just a few months ago at the euro champs we were wondering if they could shorten some player's suspension if they are unfair (the greek captain couldn't play the last match because of a refereeing mistake in the game against russia)
they couldn't
and now ibrahimowicz's suspension is shortened
ibrahimovitch is usually pretty bad in champions league anyways

I was thinking the same thing. It's a joke. UEFA is as corrupt as any African organisation. I'm hoping for a Barca win because of this.
