As I was the one that made the wrong prediction a few years ago that Christian McCaffrey would win the Heisman as a freshman and he should have won it last year ( there should be no one in the world that can argue against that I am going to make anther crazy prediction. Free agent rb Dalton Crossan will not only make the Colts this year but he will get significant playing time later in the season. I watched this kid in high school and thought, well he is an okay football player but as a number of us mentioned here, he has arguably the quickest feet in the world for a football player. The more I watch of his New Hampshire highlights this kid is REALLY explosive. He is better than a poor man's McCafffrey as he is very quick, powerful and can slash both ways as where McCaffrey seems to cut right much better than he does left. I do not know the Colts rb situation but I am going to throw this one out there.

There is a nice internet article floating around about D. Crossan being compared to Chris Hogan. Not the small school comparison but because they were both all-american lacrosse players in high school Apparently Crossan was offered nemerous D1 scholarships to play lacrosse. I was wondering why Syracuse offered him being that they are a national lacrosse power every year. This kid is going to make this team. I almost guarantee it. I liked Chard Varga better out of Yale for the Colts a few years back but this kid looks like the real deal. He is just about as good as McCaffrey at the college level IMO.

Dalton Crossan 2016 highlights:

UNH highlights before 2016:

This kid is amazing. I agree with a few of the posters as far as how quick his cuts are. Amazing athlete with
insanely loose hips, fluidity and speed to burn. He makes people miss with ease! Exciting prospect for the
Colts. Would love to see him become their number 1 or 2 running back!

I just spent a good 15 minutes perusing the Colts rb core. Not to be all emotional here but does frank Gore really have any gas left in the tank? Backup Turbin is good enough to start but the next 3 backs in the pecking order are all scrubs. Crossan with a good camp should be 2nd or third with Gore getting a few token carries and maybe Crossan becomes the STD plus possibly return kicks and punts. I really like his chances and I don't say that about everybody as even I thought Julian Edelman would never be able to convert from college QB to WR though he does have the greatest qb of all time throwing to him.

his cuts are really good, on par with CM's but he is not as fast in open field, without checking his stats I'd say a 4.6 40, his cone drills must be phenomenal with his lateral abilities and his cuts. He is a beast wrecking machine as even when they hit him he bounces off and keeps going or he runs them over! Kind of reminds me of ZZ but more elusive. I truly hope he does not get screwed over.....On a side note I cannot stand the music in these videos, why not put it to some ACDC like TNT or Thunderstruck...

I can't find the source where I just found it 3 minutes ago but this Nfl draft preview says Crossan's biggest weakness in his tightness in the hips and lack of cutting ability. WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A DWF/scout sees a white guy and already the guy has deceptive speed and is tight in the hips. Nothing new here. Thank God there are no highlights of Crossan out on the internet which might help showcase his abilities. Sarcasm noted.
