One of the vilest articles I have seen in a long while, beginning with the title:

[h=1]Liverpool Should Bust A Gut For Benteke...[/h]

There has to come a time when Liverpool eschew potential and buy a proven striker. At £32.5m, Christian Benteke barely constitutes a gamble, says Matthew Briggs...

Heh,wasn't Balotelli already the best in the world when he came to Liverpool? Now he's suddenly "unproven"?

The club have, unsurprisingly, gone down that path again with the arrival of 22-year-old Danny Ings from Burnley, and while that particular transfer promises more than the likes of Fabio Borini et al,

Yes,"Et al",can't name Black God Balotelli.

Lambert, Borini and Balotelli could all be moved on at Anfield this summer, leaving Rodgers with injury-plagued Sturridge, Ings and Divock Origi - who will return from an unspectacular loan spell at Lille where he was voted in L'Equipe's worst Ligue 1 team of the season.

Phew,facts!A one off...

Liverpool have been linked with numerous strikers this summer - including Fernando Llorente, Carlos Bacca, Salomon Rondon and Luciano Vietto - but Christian Benteke has got to be the pick of the crop.

In which world does this idiot reside in?Even the non-white Bacca is clearly better.

The 24-year-old Benteke scored 13 goals in 29 Premier League starts in 2014/15

All this fuss for 13 goals!!!:faint2:

He comes with a sizeable £32.5m price tag, but when you consider the £16m they paid for Balotelli, the £10m fee for Origi and the £10m they inexplicably forked out for Borini

What!!!Balotelli at 16m,much more expensive than Borini, isn't inexplicable,Origi, who no one knew, for the same price as Borini isn't inexplicable, but Fabio Borini, who was quite the hotshot at Roma(plus he's never been givena fair chance at Liverpool),for 10m is "inexplicable"?Bastard!:censored:

The Aston Villa man would represent the smallest gamble for Rodgers

That's 32 bloody million!!!But no "Smallest".Does this guy even know English? If he did,he'd know when and when not to use the Superlative form of a word.

Can they afford to turn their nose up at a world-class striker because he would not fit into their ethosBenteke is that good he could adapt to just about any side in the top flight.

First of,Benteke isn't anywhere the top 25 strikers in the world,so calling him "World Class" is just prepostrous.
Second,he's only ever played for one club in the EPL,a club which escapes relegation by the skin of its teeth, every time.

After half a season of mediocrity at Villa under Paul Lambert

A typical black...

His strength, pace and aerial ability make him one of the best strikers in Europe and only the likes of Sergio Aguero and Diego Costa can surpass his finishing ability.

Yeah, yeah,Lewandowski,Higuain,Ibrahimovic, Tevez are all duds. :yell:

After three years at Villa Park, and after goal returns of 23, 11 and 15, it may well be time for Benteke to move up the ladder

Here, finally,we clearly see why he's not worth 32m.

The amount of black-worship,outright falsehoods in that article is just pathetic!Plus the hatred for the one white player in discussion - Fabio Borini - is just outrageous.

europe = brittish premier league for him
even in britain you just have to look at how many strikers have scored more than him to know it's not true

With that amount of money, you can buy atleast 3 Benteke. :suspicious:
Last year they bought "(not so) Super Mario" Balotelli for 16 M, when he scored 14 goals in 30 matches in Serie A (18 in 41 total season), while Benteke this year scored 13 goals in 29 matches in EPL (16 in 35 total season).
