I heard Limblah picking on ESPN about this yesterday. He was saying that ESPN knew about this nine years ago, had the tape, and didn't do anything. Called them hypocrites for their treatment of Paterno/Penn State. Also said that if the kids name was McNabb they might have done more. It was kind of funny. Sometimes the fatguy is worth a listen.

Syracuse has more pressing scandals to deal with nowadays.

I found an interesting follow-up article (from Jan. 2014) that reveals Fine has migrated to Boca Raton to sell insurance and offer "basketball consulting." Israeli team Maccabi Haifa overlooked the whole boy-diddling sideshow and temporarily brought Fine onto payroll to review practice tapes from home. The article does not quote Fine, but there is an implication that he is now somewhat celebrated by his local ethnic enclave.

Fine would have at least been charged had the statute of limitations not expired on the accusations. The evidence implicated Bernie's repulsive harridan of a jewish wife for fellating players so as to compare their genitalia. Bernie, meanwhile, took the ballboys downstairs to his "rumpus room" for alone-time.

The comments there are as dumb as usual.
