Anyone notice before the interviews at podium Goodell shook hands with Brady. Goodell tried pulling a squeeze and dip, but as Goodell was pulling away Brady wouldnt let his hand go. That was great. Hats off to Matt Ryan for a solid performance and an incredibe season.

So subtle, so smart, but I more would have been funner to watch.

All the Pats WR's contributed in times of great need. Amedola's 2-point conversion, with the game hanging in the balance, was epic...

Edelmam drew their best CB, had some drops and misques with Brady, but ended up with the most memorable play of the SB. He got kicked in the face and fought off 3 pairs of hands and a guy's foot...

Hogan had some great catches too.

I just got back from watching the game with a good number of anti-Trumpers who also of course hate the Patriots. What a sweet ending. After having to endure the hooting as the Pats were put into a big hole, it was worth it to hear the wails as they came back and won in what has to be the most incredible manner in football history. Still not tired of winning!!!

I didn't care to think about it at the time, but the only negative is the stupid overtime rules. Both teams should get equal amount of possessions. Not sure how they decide to change the rules and still screw up like that. Obviously I'm happy with the result but if Patriots lost that flip and Atlanta scored a TD to end the game without Patriots being able to respond I'd be livid.

I was thinking the same thing myself. But, Atlanta was on the field, and could have stopped them.

Some of the black players on the Pats are just really classy guys. Saw an interview with Deion Lewis and some other guy. They are very humble good guys. Belichick culture is solid

Belichick is from the Tom Landry school. He knows how to handle those guys. Blount has caused trouble for other coaches but not with Belichick.

I prefer to think of it as payback for the Seattle-Green Bay NFC Championship where the Seahawks won the coin toss and won in overtime with a touchdown, and Rodgers never got to see the field. Karma.

The overtime rules basically eliminate athletic merit from the game. It becomes a flip of the coin. Sure the defense can cause a stop but its a inconceivably strong disadvantage to the team that loses the coin toss. The fact that this rule isnt lambasted by the media constantly speaks volumes of the low quality of modern sportswriters and the non-reflective nature of the majority of sports fans.

Got home and started watching the highlights over and over and over. I said to myself, "I gotta go on CF and gloat with the most informed and knowledgeable fans on the face of the earth"! What a game! All hail King Brady! The GOAT! This is a great day!

After the fact prediction but I did figure that if things got tight Atlanta would be the ones to wilt.

Speaking of wilting once Atlanta went up 21-0 I couldn't handle it and went for a ride. I was 99 percent sure the Pats were done, and even if they came back I can't handle the stress of nail biters any more. I wanted NE to win so bad.

When I got back I checked CF to see what happened. It was fun to go through the posts and learn they had won.

What a game and what a win, I still prefer Montana, Manning, and Marino but Brady has had a hell of a career and could play until he's 45 easily (unless he gets hurt)

Edelman, Hogan and Amendola's success on the biggest stages could really help the draft stock of Kupp, Hansen, Taylor, Sperbeck etc (in a fair world it would at least). Imagine if this pats team would take Caff and Kupp this year though!

Actually heard an interview this morning that Brady is the greatest because he wins Super Bowls with no great receivers since Randy Moss! Unbelievable. So Wes Welker was nothing. Julian Edelman is a nobody still? The caste brain is hard to repair.
