i wanted to talk you about this tall and young central defender from uruguay
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=122aeB0zLCU

he is of english and french descent
1,96m, very powerfull, but also very skillfull
everybody talk about him
last year, whan ronaldinho was rumored to return to brazil (he did, finally), they asked the fans who they wanted most
and the fans answered: sebastian coates, and only second, ronaldinho

this is because of the strong influence diego lugano has in brazil, he said that coates was the next central defender of uruguay
they call him "luganito", or little lugano

he has european passport, so there is no reason to not buy him, for european clubs

uruguay anounced their team for the 2011 copa america, and sebastian coates is in it: great!

they will probably win the world cup, they have the best team

(Nacional)=english and french

Mauricio Victorino (Cruzeiro)= south italian

Andres Scotti (Colo Colo)=northern italian

Martin Caceres (Sevilla)=indian

Maximiliano Pereira (Benfica)=not very white

middlefielders :
Alvaro Pereira (Porto)=black

Cristian Rodriguez (Porto)=italian

Egidio Arevalo Rios
(Botafogo)=mestizo

Sebastian Eguren (Real Sporting)=basque

Diego Perez (Bologne)=i don't know exactly, maybe russian, but he is 100% white

Walter Gargano (Naples)=south italian

Alvaro Gonzalez (Lazio Rome)=white, spanish i think

Nicolas Lodeiro
(Ajax)=relatively white

fowards: Edinson Cavani (Naples)=his father was italian, his mother indian

Diego Forlan
(Atlético Madrid)=french, basque, italian

Luis Suarez (Liverpool)=relatively white

Who cares about South American teams or players. Let them stay there. Abreu-a black father and Italian mother?

yes, abreu's father is black, and his mother is white, uruguayan, of italian origin
his mother's family never accepted the fact that their daughter married a black man

i care, because south america is the best in soccer
coates will win a lot of champions league, he is, like lucio, a defender that can win a champions league on his own
i won't ask for a south american player coming in europe when the rules will be that no stranger can play in european soccer, but right now there is no such rule

I have been reading some of the Liverpool forums (mainly RAWK) and it's clear that Coates is now quite popular with the majority of Liverpool supporters. He has seen a lot of playing time in League Cup matches and his height and power have been huge assets in matches against physical and "long-ball" sides like Stoke City. Liverpool have a lot of defensive depth, but Coates should eventually be able to make the starting position his own.

It's also good to see that Suarez has been very supportive of him...it's likely that Liverpool will continue to monitor other football players from Uruguay.

thanks for the news

after a goal from suarez for uruguay against bolivia, suarez ran to congratulate coates, who was on the bench
it seems that, yes, suarez helps him a lot

i was a little desapointed that coates didn't play more in premier league, as there were at one point a lot of suspended players
i know he is young, but i would play with him
even in the 2010 world cup i thought he should have played, because godin and lugano being injuried, he was better than victorino

another thing that annoys me with liverpool is reina

he might be a legend in liverpool, but doni is a lot better
reina made some mistakes this year...

once you see coates, it's like lugano, you are forced to like him, because he is a warrior

great match from coates today in the impressive victory of liverpool against chelsea, 2-0, in the cup
i only watched the second half, but i saw he totally dominated the clueless "new drogba" lukaku

Frederic38, Do you have a subscription to Liverpool TV? What do they charge?

That reserve game was nice and white.

no, i learned about the goal for the reserve squad on a uruguayan website, and the cup match was live on dailymotion diffused by "orange sport", a french TV, but they diffused the match for free on the web
i don't know if they do this often, but i apreciated it, i love watching liverpool play, and coates played too
i hope they will do the same for the next cup match

oh, i forgot to tell that lucas leiva was injuried in the second half, he got out of the field crying
i hope the injury is not too important
on the replay you could see thathis knee took a bad hit...

also, lukaku almost broke henderson's leg in the first half

lucas leivas's injury was unfortunately very serious
he won't play again this season
it's very bad news for him, for liverpool, and for brasil
i wonder who menezes will put in his place, maybe adilson

and i don't know if he will be at the world cup 2014....i'm very sad for him and for brazil

liverpool will play with gerrard, and let's hope they don't want to buy another defensive middlefielder to replace lucas, because if they buy one, it will be a black one
edit: they asked for the return of jonjo shelvey, who was out on loan

amazing goal by coates:

unfortunately the goal was useless because liverpool went from leading 2-0 to losing 3-2 in 15 minutes...
he did not start the match, he substituted kelly (i don't know if it was because kelly was disappointing, or injuried)
i think he should play more, i have been very disappointed that he starts so few matches

It's nice to see all the white guys celebrating for Liverpool.

That reminds me of Chelsea's victory over Napoli where they had 4 goals, 3 scored by whites including the game winner, but the BBC shows Drogba on their site for the main picture of the game.
