that he doesn't suppprt the government lableling its citizens according to

Totally agree!!! Ron Paul is the only candidate(Kucinich too/however doesn't stand a chance) to right the direction this country is going in.

Just tell the Huckabee guy that Ron Paul wants to bring all our troops home from all over the globe, not just Iraq and Afghanistan. Also, he wants to get us out of all organizations that hurt us, such as the UN, Nafta, the world bank, etc. He'll also stop all foreign aid to everybody. Then he'll kill all these crummy federal organizations like Homeland security and the education dept. That's just for starters.

Where's Huckabee on these things? Probably the same as all the rest of them.

as a lifelong resident of the state of Arkansas, i can tell you that Mike Huckabee started out as a pretty good man and turned into a politician.

he has led the charge to make Arkansas one of the friendliest states in the country to illegal aliens, making it easy as pie for them to get government benefits and what not.

also, he was one of the main figures behind getting a Mexican consulate building put in Little Rock! not only is that a completely horrible idea, it also violates federal law as i understand it (since the Feds are supposed to control that stuff) AND it shows how little he will do to halt the flow of illegal hispanics into the USA.

Jimmy is right about Huckabee. My parents lived in Arkansas for a few years and know quite a bit about him and his political nature. He is a regular neo-con. I've been discussing Paul and Huckabee with my landlord who is a native Arkansan. He likes him for several various non-political reasons. So far, the thing he was most excited about to tell me in regards to Huckabee was that he was endorsed by Chuck Norris. Yeah, that really convinced me!

The thing with this guy whom I'm debating with is that he opposes Ron Paul and supports Mike Huckabee because he is an evangelical Christian and says Ron Paul is anti-Israel because he wants us to pull out of the war and wont bow down to organizations like AIPAC and other special interest groups.

I myself am a Christian and while I'm not exactly anti-Israel (I actually support them morally in their fight against muslim terrorism) I just don't think we should be giving them a 4 billion dollar welfare check every year. In fact, I think Ron Paul's mid-east plan would actually be beneficial to Israel because he would end their dependency on US foreign aid basically make it to where they would have to stand on their own two feet.

Unfortunately these shysters like John Hagee and Pat Robertson don't see it this way. Any Christian worth his salt should support Ron Paul. As I said before, I am not anti-Israel nor do I have a problem with Israel. I am just tired of the paganistic worship of Israel (as if they can do no wrong) by people like Hagee and Robertson. By the way, Hagee was the moron who said that Jesus was not the messiah, and that Jews don't have to go through Christ in order to get to heaven. What garbage! The bible specifically states the only way to heaven is through Christ. The fact that these snakes like Hagee and Robertson have this cult-like following of evangelicals is very scary. These are the people who are backing Huckabee, and should paint a good picture of what we're up against

If he is a true Christian, you should tell him that the Iraq War is un-
Constitutional (never voted on in Congress), that it has killed over one
million innocent Iraqi civilians, and that it was never waged against any
country that attacked us on 911. No weapons of mass destruction either.
"Pre-emptive war" was a tactic used by the Nazi's. The Christian doctrine
of war is to only wage war in self-defense. No Christian believes in "pre-
emptive war", and certainly not one that has caused this much mass
slaughter.

BTW, Israel (our "ally") takes its 4 billion every year and uses it to bribe
our politicians. That's not hyperbole. That's an actual fact, and why
AIPAC is the most powerful lobby in Washington D.C.

Have to correct you on Christianity and war, Christians certainly did/do believe in total war. Haven't you ever heard of the Thirty Years War, or the Dutch war of independance from Spain (80 yrs)? Christians sure got down and dirty then. Whole swathes of Europe were depopulated.

Also, I'm very sure they have it in them to do it again. The only difference being that now when they're going to bury their victims alive, they're going to use a backhoe to did the trench rather than use a shovel.
