People who believe Black and White running backs get the same chance in the NFL are crazy. Case in point..... Roger Robinson was an amazing Running Back in H.S., but likeall whiteRB's in H.S. he was looked over by big time NCAA schools. He ended up going to Utah State and setting a couple of special teams records his freshman year. He was set to be the starter his soph year and they brought in another black RB to take his place. He got feed up with the crap andleft to NAU and was All Big Sky two years at NAU.
Some info that some guys have on this board are incorrect. Robinsons' official fourty time is 4.36 his vert was 40.5" and he did 23 reps of 225. He came out on "The Sporting News " as the fasted RB in college football in 2005.
The guy flies his fourty, leaps out of the building and bangs out over 20 reps on the bench!!! What does the white boy get? He goes undrafted and gets cut by the Cards in training camp. He never even got a chance. By comparison, J.J Arrington was who is the same size as Robinson, but has a slower fourty, lower vert and benched less then Robinson gets drafted in the second and makes a couple million dollars. One guy is black the other white.........
Robinson goes to NFLE and sets the rushing record and 100 yrds game season recordand you still get sporting mags that say he will not make it in the NFL. What kind of offers do you think he would get if he were black. This crap about size is stupid, he is 5'10" and 203 pds. That is the size and weight of some of the best RB's to play football ever!!!!
