I've seen a few episodes from the new season of pros vs joes, and I've got to say it is entertaining, but not for the reasons some may think. For the Fourth season the format of the show was revamped, and now consists of three pros vs three nearly pro-joes in three different challeneges of either all basketball or all football events.

Now in each of three episodes i've watched, there has always been three black pros vs 2 black joes and 1 white joe.
Nearly every black steroetype has been featured in the three epsisodes i've seen whether it be the black athlete who says the man kept him down and that it's all politics, the black overly agressive athlete, or my personal favorite the black athlete that ball hogs and constantly makes subtle racial remarks to his white teammate. The white athlete has always been shy, quite, and by far the best athlete in every episode. It's funny, it's almost like you couldn't make the show represent the american sports world any better.

The first episode i wathced was a basketball one that featured a 6 foot 7 white guy that dominated in the paint against shawn kemp and ultimately won the 10,000 dollars for his teammates.
The next episode was a football challemge that featured a white wide receiver/ quarterback in college at Washington state, that turned down pursuing a football career to play college baseball and get his master's degree. In this epsidoe the white athlete shut down tim brown in a recieving drill, and was really the only good football player on his team.
The third and final episode I saw was another basketball episode that featured alonzo morning, antoine walker, and robert horry against 2 black joes one that barely touched the ball and the other that was an overly agressive ball-hog. The only white guy on the show was a 27 year old 6 foot tall factory worker named David Kalb. Some of you may know him as the man that destroyed lebron james in horse. He was a walk on at Akron and again was the sole bright spot in the whole episode.
There was one point in that epusode that got me pretty angry and occured when David Kalb was playing against antoine walker in a game of horse. Alonzo morning told antoine to do a one handed dunk because alonzo believed there was no way david would be able to reach the rim. David Kalb attempted the dunk and as some of you might have guessed one of the announcers said, "There's no way this little white guy is going to be able to flush it down" or something to that effect.
David had to hold the ball up against his forearm to hold it in place because he could not palm it and yet still managed to get it in the hoop before it popped back out. How people say things like that on nationial television, yet still deny that their is a racial bias in sports is beyond me.

There is a fourth episode that i haven't seen yet that features pac man jones as one of the pros, and to know one's rusprise he manages to get into a fight with a white joe.Dan Adams, an undersized linebacker who played at Holy Cross and managed to record 21 tackels in a single game, was tackled by pacman several yards out of bounds and so a fight ensued.

Has anyone else seen the show? What do you guys think about the white joe's perfomances? Glad to hear Pacman got his ass kicked?

I have watched every episode but the last one and I pretty much agree with your analysis RNBY123. The team format is much more interesting than the individual stuff last year. I hate the constant trash talking, you can tell some of that is contrived for TV with the constant egging on by Jay Glazer and Michael Strahan.

Yeah, i'm really starting to hate Micheal Strahan, not that i didn't hate him already being a cowboys fan, but he is so one sided that it's a little rediculous. I think the show is a perfect representation of how America views sports. Overwhelmingly black, unfair to whites, and dotted with quite white superstars. I really want to see the pacman jones episode.
