Portsmouth have been declared insolvent and have been placed under administration by insolvency accountants in an attempt to recoup some of the 60-70 million pound debts.

But Portmouth's poor finances are typical of most clubs in the premier league, so the club's collapse is likely to spell trouble for other clubs in similar situations. Who do Castefootball readers think will follow them into administration?

What about Liverpool or Man United getting into financial trouble? Their American owners took out large loans to buy these teams I think and if they don't make the Champions League they might run into trouble or at least that's what I have heard. These are 2 teams that shouldn't have any financial worries.

It looks like Stoke is debt free according to the BBC.
