If Nelson and Zombo become starters, the Packers would have 10 White starters. Zombo started in the Super Bowl as a rookie, and it'll be a crime if Nelson is once again held back in favor of well-over-the-hill Driver, or shares time with James Jones.

The continuing "whiteout" of Whites even as backups on the d-line and defensive backfield is dismaying.

It would be nice if Nelson and Zombo were listed as "starters" but we all know that they will get significant playing time and outplay the supposed starters. That starter/depth chart business has always been used to stroke the egos of over-the-hill veterans or big paycheck busts. For all intents and purposes the Pack will be playing 10 (or more) white players the majority of the time. At least they will if they want to win.

There's starters and then there's "ceremonial starters" and the latter always are black. Apparently the Packers are unable to do the right thing with Driver because of his years of productivity, his super-charged room brightening smile, and his accomplishment of not being charged with any felonies while with the team.

What a total crock of $h1t that Jordy isn't a starter...when he's the best WR on team.
