Notre Dame is a top 25 team but doesn't belong anywhere near the top 15. Not only does the Notre Dame offensive line suck but the defensive line does too. Also I really hope Tommy Z comes back. I can see him getting a lot more hype next year and being hailed as the top safety in the country.

I knew a girl in college who looked as white as him but she had a hispanic father from mexico who looked like Cheech. Her last name was also Gonzales...I am just throwing it out there and I am not trying to be rude about it though. I hope you all understand.

I understand. A Hispanic person can look white and still be considered non-white by the masses. For example, many people consider Jeff Garcia and Cameron Diaz to be "Hispanic." I have no problem with the guy, and I hope he torches all those black corners. But his success probably won't have much impact on the Caste System. And if he were lined up against a defensive back who is "un-ambiguously" white, I would root for the white defender.

That's pretty sick dude. Why would you root for someone based on who is whiter?

Ryan Harris the black Left tackle who was judged to have first round talent disappointed this year and was outshone by Freshman All American Sam Young.
He certainly didnt hlep the O Line performance...

Now if Robbie Parris could get starting at WR...

we could have possibely 5 O-Linemen, Tight End in Carlson, One WR,
and Jimmy Clausen starting

8 Starters on offense would be outstanding

What I meant was that I would root for someone who I know for sure is white, over someone who I'm not 100% sure is white. I stand by that.

I'm very gald to see Tommy Z making the right choice in coming back next year for a number of reasons:
1. Tommy had a bad year stats wise. He only had 33 tackles and no INTS and his punt returning went as well.
2. A lot of quality safeties are in this year's draft with LaRon Landry, John Wendling, and Reggie Nelson to name a few(I count Weddle as a CB)
3. Tommy Z will only benefit from another year at ND. Not only will he become bigger and faster but a chance to improve upon his not so impressive stats this year will only help his stock skyrocket next year.
4. Lastly another year at ND will boost his visibilty and name recognition even more among fans and scouts alike. With the Shark and Quinn gone; Tommy Z will definitly be the poster boy for ND football next year.

Does anyone else think that Tommy Z may be better suited bulking up and being an Urlacher type of player? I think he could be dominant at the LB position, and would open up a Safety spot for McCarthy.

I don't think it would be wise to waste speed like Tommy Z's at LB. Notre Dame should just move McCarthy back to his natural position in high school which is CB. Oh wait CB is off limits to whitey.

we just lost our Prize jewel in Recruiting in my opinion....
White 4 Star(Rivals) Defensive End... Justin Trattou who is an absolute monster just committed to Urban Meyer and the cole black Gators....

This hurts Notre Dame and our cause of ridding the game we love of the Caste regime big time,Hed have been a 4 year starter at D-end for us Irish...

He probably wont see the field at Florida for a year or two now

It's disappointing to lose Trattou, what is he thinking? Man, I hope this doesn't discourage Weis from recruiting whites in the future...

I read that the reason Trattou switched his commitment is because Notre Dame is switching to a 3-4. Will this get a couple more white guys on the field at LB? We shall see.

it should get more white guys on the field at LB...
we have Scott Smith, Steve Quinn,Anthony Vernaglia and possibely D-end John Ryan moving to strongside linebacker...
There are also rumours of Luke Schmidt the awesome RB moving to Linebacker...i dont know how i feel about that, because he might get alot more playing time...Steve Paskorz could fit in at LB or Running back either.
with promising weakside Aaron Nagel in this recruiting class as well...ND should be set at Linebacker for a couple of years...and most of those in contention are white

I like Charlie Weis as he seems like man that does not discriminate players based on their skin color.

Don't look now, but ND is in hot pursuit for many, many, top whites for next year's recruiting class. It looks very promising and I can't wait for the next couple of years to materialize with Weis' penchant for getting our types of guys.

Charlie Weis has to keep up the good name of the program and get athletes
who can actually do decently in the classroom. Remember Paul Hornung's
plea to get more "speed" on the team by lowering academic standards?

Also, Weis may be pulling a Billy Beane "Moneyball" type action in rounding
up players overlooked for one reason or another (white skin). This should
be interesting in years to come to see how this strategy pans out. I sure
hope it does. Lots of people hate ND, but I'm not one of them.

For the most part, these recruits he is after are all highly rated. Otherwise, the experts would be berating his efforts and saying that ND is headed for a fall. I believe he does target lesser knowns also, but it seems to me that there is a trend that is occurring that has more whites are being rated higher than before. As for the academic side, you are correct in that they have to be also smarter than the average recruit to be accepted at ND.

I think it will take another 2 years or so before we can really evaluate the direction in which Weis is taking the program. This year's class is a fairly good one as far as we are concerned, but it can improve greatly. Time will tell as to whether it does or not. One thing is for sure, the makeup of this Irish class is a lot different than SEC recruiting classes.
