I am sure there will be lots of grumpy faces tomorrow at ESPN and in the NFL offices if he continues to play like he is doing so far.

True, but the average fan won't know why they're grumpy, because they most likely will not mention Hillis at all, like the did the past 2-3 weeks.

Jacob Hester has 1 carry so far, 28 yards. Pretty good average.

Hopefully he'll get a couple more. He also has 3 catches for 19 yards.Edited by: Sean

There is another one of our guys who should be getting more carries this year, since Tomlinson is noticeably starting to decline. If Hester was black, he would definitely have gotten into the mix earlier like Turner did.

Cheapshot just happened to Welker

What happened?
One of the Pittsburgh defenders laid Welker out after an incomplete pass. To his credit Welker got right back up. You know they did that on purpose.

his sole carry came on a fake punt, he made a couple of nice moves there.

Oh I see. I'm watching the Denver game, so I just saw that stat. I should have known Norv Turner wouldn't just hand the ball off to Hester. After all, he only rushed for 1,000 yards at LSU!

is it me or have Dennver abandoned the run ??

The last series was very poorly called. 19 yard run and then 3 straight plays from shotgun. I think we will know more this last quarter. Looking at Denver over the years, they sometimes get kooky like that, so who knows.

I hope Welker doesn't have a concussion. It was a real cheap shot.

They should be feeding Hillis the ball the rest of the game after Stokley's TD catch. It's a good sign that Shanahan hasn't been using Bell and Pope. Against a hot team with a tough run defense Peyton is making a very strong statement today.

I just may have to become a Denver Broncos Fan.

I get almost sick to my stomach with Lovie Smith's dog and pony show in Chicago.

If Hillis is used as he should be to run out the clock, Peyton could easily be the leading rusher! Only 29 yards needed.

He would be pretty close right now if not for that touchdown called back. That would have been a really nice day. I will take this one though. He also faced the toughest run defense of anyone else on that list. Jones out gained him primarily because of that one big run and against the 28th rated defense. Lynch ran against the 16th, Johnson the worst in the league, Turner against 15, while Hillis ran against number 3. NOT TOO SHABBY AT ALL!
