Danny Woodhead with 54 yards rushing and 84 yards recieving. Great showing from him today, really impressive but we all know he is always capable of this when given the touches!!

Woody is the epitome of the stick in the eye to the Caste System! Therefore, I root endlessly for that dude!

Huge game from Nick Foles. Really happy for him as he continues to prove the hateful media and dwfs wrong.

I think the Rams fan base, despite some DWFs, is waaaay better to Foles than Philthy was.

Yep, I threw that out there. I don't think the Bolts will be there in the end, but it would be a delight...

Oh right lol sorry did'nt realise it was you :icon_wink:. With Rivers playing really well and the great Weddle at the heart of the defense their is plenty to like on the Chargers! Kyle Emmanuel's increasing snaps are also a positive sign!

Regarding the Patriots - Chargers - I wouldn't mind seeing Weddle end up in New England after this year (San Diego seems content to let him walk) and see Weddle have a Rodney Harrison like ending to his career. Harrison also went from the Chargers to the Patriots

Would be great to see him at the Patriots but they have alot of money tied up in McCourty so spending big dollar on another safety albeit a great one may not be a Belicheck move.

Great to see Woodhead excel on Sunday. 12 touches=140 yards. His last big gain to seal the game, got shoe laced, damn, could have scored the game winning TD. A great game nevertheless, Woody is having a great 2015 thus far.

White NFL head coaches should understand the script by now that if things start going really bad and you have a team that is almost pure coal, YOU are going to be the scapegoat, not the players, and YOU will get fired.

At the very least, these White coaches (assuming the GM is willing as well) should keep the more traditionally Caste positions (over the past 30 years) White, i.e. QB, OL, TE, and, to a lesser extent, LB. One, you will get much better production and have a somewhat functional team, both on-the-field, and in the locker room, which should translate into more wins; two, the DWFs and media may be more lenient with you.

Philbin (and many other White head coaches, both past and present, NFL and college) are fools for not understanding this and Chip Kelly better be careful he doesn't go down the same path. His Eagles would probably not be sitting at 1-3 if they had not traded Foles and stopped utilizing their White offensive talent. If he tries to rectify it by continuing to go down the dark side, they'll continue their decline and he'll eventually be fired.

Just about called it here last week Woodhead would have a Big game this week! No surprise to many of us here...

Woodhead only had 11 yards on 5 carries this week...expecting him to bust a long run in the coming weeks....

http://www.chargers.com/video/2015/10/04/philip-rivers-finds-danny-woodhead-61-yards

From a Caste-busting position perspective if the Patriots can not reach the Super Bowl...have said AFC Chargers would make sense in the AFC...young white boys across the country watching Weddle & Woodhead on TV say maybe there is a chance!

Hate to see looks like Cowboys best defensive player Sean Lee out with concussion...

I think it's ludicrous that bums like Toucan Kaepernick, Jameez, Geno Smiff, Sanchez, or even perennial back-up guys like the Brian Hoyer, Mcown brothers, Fitzpatrick, Clausen, etc continue to get starts and remain on NFL rosters, but Tebow apparently is not even good enough to be #3 for the Eagles.

I definitely believe an order came from the higher ups in the NFL to blackball Tebow for good.

At age 30, Browns TE, Gary Barnidge, is finally permitted to be an NFL starter. The speedy former 5th round pick has been a nice surprise, compiling 16 catches, 235 yards, and 2 TD's through 4 games. If he can average around 60 yards per game for the remaining 12 contests, he could be a 1,000-yard receiver this year. Check out this catch he made yesterday...

It can't be overstated how outstanding Philip Rivers was yet again on Sunday. Playing behind a woeful, injury-riddled, mostly sumo o-line and down to two wide receivers after Malcom Floyd and Stevie Johnson were injured during the game (and with TE Antonio Gates serving the final game of his four game suspension), Rivers went 23 of 38 for 358 yards, 3 TDs and no interceptions to lead the Chargers to a 30-27 win over Cleveland. Danny Woodhead also played a major part in the victory.

Rivers is a magician of a quarterback, who has often played with weak receivers and poor offensive lines. By the time his career's over he'll rank among the best ever. He's certainly very under-appreciated in the era of Brady, Manning, Rodgers and Brees.

Happy Birthday! Hopefully the new coach will be a step up but with tannenbaum as part of that organization I wouldn't hold my breath. Any ideas on who might replace him?

edit: looks like former NFL TE Dan Campbell has been named interim coach. He's a young guy at 39 - retired from the NFL after the 2009 season - perhaps his own experiences with the caste system might lead him to dump some of the trash on that roster

Spot on about Rivers - I honestly don't appreciate him as much as I should. He played a masterful game yesterday ( I was lucky to get to watch it). He is right up there with the marquee names and is vilified like no other for showing emotion on the field. Not to hijack the post but Kevin Hogan reminds me of Rivers mostly because of their unorthodox throwing motions and being big strong armed Qbs.

Rivers is attacked for showing emotion on the field, but, at least according to what I've read, he takes no guff and does so by never swearing. He also has seven or eight children and is religious. In short, in addition to being a great quarterback he's a terrific role model in a league that idolizes thug culture.
