The three Sunday matches yielded 6 goals (3 by Whites, 3 by blacks).

Bolton 2 Blackburn 1

Bolton:

Started: 9 Whites (4 Englishmen), 1 black, 1 Asian
Finished: 9 Whites (5 Englishmen), 2 blacks

Blackburn:

Started: 7 Whites (2 Englishmen), 4 blacks
Finished: 7 Whites (3 Englishmen), 4 blacks

Wolves 1 Birmingham 0

Wolves:

Started: 8 Whites (1 Englishman), 3 blacks
Finished: Unchanged ratio

Birmingham:

Started: 10 Whites (5 Englishmen), 1 black
Finished: 9 Whites (6 Englishmen), 1 black, 1 mestizo

Spurs 1 Chelsea 1

Tottenham:

Started: 5 Whites (1 Englishman), 5 blacks, 1 mestizo
Finished: 6 Whites (2 Englishmen), 4 blacks, 1 mestizo

That's 21 black starters out of 66 (31.81%)

2 other non-White starters makes 23 non-Whites (34.84%)

14 English starters equals 21.21%

Manchester United defeated Arsenal 1 - 0 at Old Trafford last night to conclude the round.

Manchester United:

Started: 5 Whites (2 Englishmen), 4 blacks, 1 mestizo (Rafael), 1 Asian
Finished: Unchanged ratio -Ialways count Ryan Giggs (who came onfor the final five minutes)as black, given that his father is a mulatto. Some may think that is "harsh", but there it is. Besides, Giggs has always whined about the "racism" he experienced as a child...

Arsenal:

Started: 6 Whites (1 Englishman), 3 blacks, 2 Arabs
Finished: 5 Whites (No Englishmen), 4 blacks, 2 Arabs

So, here are the overall breakdowns of starting lineups for the entire round:

76 blacks out of 220 starters(34.54%)

89 non-Whites (including the above blacks) out of 220 starters (40.45%)

Only 49 Englishmen out of 220 starters (a mere 22.27%)

Not exactly an inspiring picture, eh?

Team Africa has been in a total downward spiral the last month, losing and tying bottom tier teams. They need an infusion of White players next season if they ever want to return to the top. This shows what happens & what you get when you pass the tipping point of the black & White ratio. You get what many NFL teams experience. Chaos, dysfunction, lack of effort, quitting on the team and overall lack of leadership. Seems like the inmates are running the asylum.Edited by: Freethinker

Depressing ratios. To think a few years ago I enjoyed watching the EPL as it was overwhelmingly white.

These stats do make me appreciate the World Cup wins of Italy and Spain however. Hopefully, all-white teams will continue this trend in the next World Cup and European Championships.

Why are you counting Nasri as an Arab? He is a Berber.

irokez - The fact that Samir Nasri may be Berber, part-Berber or whatever other Maghreb admixture is essentially immaterial - he is a non-White. Simple really. Just like Zinedine Zidane, he certainly doesn't consider himself White - take a stroll about Marseille, Nasri's city of birth, to see if the Arab / Berber distinction is really all that important from the perspective of White Frenchmen (i.e. Frenchmen). The subject of Berbers has been previously discussed in the "Is Zidane White?" thread (http://www.castefootball.us/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11813&title=is-zidane-white) - if You are interested, my views on Berbers areall there.

Liverlips - By way of comparison, the breakdowns from last night's Serie A matches featuring the biggest clubs are below.

Juventus 1 Parma 4

JUVENTUS:

Started: 10 Whites (8 Italians), 1 black
Finished: 9 Whites (8 Italians*), 2 blacks*

N.B. (a) The White Brazilian substitute (of Italian descent) Amauri is an Italian international, so I have counted him as an Italian

(b) The black Brazilian Felipe Melo was sent off after 17 minutes, so Juventus technically finished with one black on the field

PARMA:

Started: 10 Whites (8 Italians), 1 Albanian ("Swiss" international Blerim Dzemaili)
Finished: Unchanged ratio

AS Roma 4 Catania 2

ROMA:

Started: 10 Whites (5 Italians), 1 black
Finished: Unchanged ratio

CATANIA:

Started: 11 Whites (3 Italians)
Finished: 11 Whites (4 Italians)

Cagliari 0 AC Milan 1

CAGLIARI:

Started: 10 Whites (9 Italians), 1 half-Indonesian ("Belgian" Radja Nainggolan - yet again, the father is non-White...
smiley3.gif
)
Finished: Unchanged ratio

AC MILAN:

Started: 8 Whites (6 Italians), 3 blacks
Finished: 7 Whites (6 Italians), 4 blacks

Genoa 0 Lazio 0

GENOA:

Started: 11 Whites (7 Italians)
Finished: 10 Whites (7 Italians), 1 black

LAZIO:

Started: 11 Whites (5 Italians*)
Finished: 11 Whites (3 Italians)

N.B. Argentine midfielder Cristian Ledesma is a "naturalised" Italian international, so he is counted as an Italian

Internazionale 3 Napoli 1

INTER:

Started: 9 Whites (1 Italian), 1 mestizo, 1 black
Finished: 6 Whites (1 Italian), 1 mestizo, 4 blacks

NAPOLI:

Started: 11 Whites (6 Italians)
Finished: 9 Whites (4 Italians), 1 Arab, 1 black

A bit different from England, eh? A salient feature is the number of Italians appearing in the starting lineups, as opposed to the very small English (i.e. White English) presence in the Premier League.

Good for Italy. How are the Spanish and Portuguese leagues in terms of playing their own people rather than overhyped black lesser lights?

Liverlips - The Spanish league is predominantly White. The majority of players are Spanish, with a significant Argentine presence. Here are a few breakdowns from the last batch of games - I've gone a bit further than usual by noting the nationalities of the non-Spanish White players in order to give You a bit of extra insight
smiley2.gif
.

Deportivo La Coruna 0 Barcelona 4

DEPORTIVO LA CORUNA:

Started: 10 Whites (9 Spaniards, 1 Argentine), 1 black
Finished: 11 Whites (9 Spaniards, 1 Argentine, 1 Norwegian)

BARCELONA:

Started: 8 Whites (6 Spaniards, 2 Argentines), 2 blacks, 1 mestizo
Finished: 6 Whites (4 Spaniards, 2 Argentines), 3 blacks, 1 mestizo, 1 Arab

Real Madrid 4 Villarreal 2

REAL MADRID:

Started: 6 Whites (4 Spaniards, 2 Portuguese), 2 blacks, 1 Berber
smiley2.gif
, 1 Turk ("German" Ozil), 1 mestizo (Argentine Angel Di Maria)
Finished: 7 Whites (3 Spaniards, 2 Portuguese, 1 Brazilian, 1 Argentine), 1 black, 1 Turk, 1 mestizo, 1 half-Tunisian ("German" Khedira)

VILLARREAL:

Started: 11 Whites (8 Spaniards, 2 Argentines, 1 Italian)
Finished: Unchanged ratio

Levante 0 Valencia 1

LEVANTE:

Started: 10 Whites (10 Spaniards), 1 black
Finished: 10 Whites (9 Spaniards, 1 Uruguayan), 1 black

VALENCIA:

Started: 8 Whites (7 Spaniards, 1 Lithuanian), 2 blacks, 1 Turk
Finished: 7 Whites (5 Spaniards, 1 Lithuanian, 1 Argentine), 2 blacks, 1 Turk, 1 Arab

Here are the details of the match between two of the "less White, extra black" Spanish clubs (Mallorca 4 Almeria 1):

MALLORCA:

Started: 6 Whites (5 Spaniards, 1 Portuguese), 1 Israeli, 4 blacks
Finished: 6 Whites (3 Spaniards, 1 Portuguese, 1 Brazilian, 1 Uruguayan), 1 Israeli, 4 blacks

ALMERIA:

Started: 6 Whites (3 Spaniards, 1 Brazilian, 1 Dane, 1 Argentine), 2 mestizos, 3 blacks
Finished: 5 Whites (3 Spaniards, 1 Brazilian, 1 Argentine), 2 mestizos, 4 blacks

The Portuguese league is a lot "blacker", mainly due to the exceedingly high concentration of Brazilians. This, after all,is the nation whose greatest footballing"legend" is the Mozambican black Eusebio, whose statue stands at the entrance to Benfica's Estadio da Luz...
smiley7.gif

Here are a few breakdowns of the last games involving the "Big Three" (FC Porto, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon). I've scrounged the results from Soccernet, which hasn't provided details of the substitutions (and in a stunning display of professionalism even failed to provide Uniao Leiria'steam against Benfica...
smiley32.gif
), so the starting lineups shall have to suffice. For a bit of extra detail, I've also listed each team's Brazilian content...

FC Porto4 Maritimo 1

FC PORTO:

Started: 5 Whites (2 Portuguese, 1 Romanian, 2 Argentines), 3 blacks, 3 mestizos

2 Brazilians (1 black, 1 mestizo)

MARITIMO:

Started: 6 Whites (1 Portuguese, 4 Brazilians, 1 Frenchman), 4 blacks, 1 black/mestizo

7 Brazilians (4 Whites, 2 blacks, 1 black/mestizo)

Sporting Lisbon 2 Braga 1

SPORTING:

Started: 9 Whites (5 Portuguese, 1 Spaniard, 1 Montenegrin, 1 Brazilian, 1 Chilean), 2 blacks

3 Brazilians (1 White, 2 blacks - I have included Liedson, the Brazilian black who is a "naturalised Portuguese" international)

S.C. BRAGA:

Started: 6 Whites (3 Portuguese, 3 Brazilians), 3 blacks, 2 mestizos

8Brazilians (3 Whites, 3 blacks, 2 mestizos)

Uniao Leiria 0 Benfica 3

BENFICA:

Started: 10 Whites (2 Portuguese, 2 Spaniards, 1 Brazilian, 1 Uruguayan, 3 Argentines, 1 Paraguayan), 1 black

2 Brazilians (1 White, 1 black)

Note that 22 Braziliansstarted for these fiveclubs. That is enough for two full teams...

Getting back to Serie A - unfortunately, not all Italian clubs are all that "White-friendly". Take Udinese for example -belowis the analysisof their 4-4 draw with AC Milan a few days ago.

UDINESE:

Started: 4 Whites (3 Italians, 1 Slovenian), 2 blacks, 1 Arab, 1 Albanian ("Swiss" international Almen Abdi), 1 Turk ("Swiss" international Gokhan Inler), 2 mestizos
Finished:4 Whites (2 Italians, 1 Slovenian, 1 Argentine), 3 blacks, 1 Arab, 1 Turk, 2 mestizos

AC MILAN:

Started: 7 Whites (5 Italians, 1 "Swede" - Ibrahimovic, 1 Brazilian), 4 blacks
Finished: 8 Whites (6 Italians, 1 "Swede", 1 Brazilian), 3 blacks

Thanks Rebajlo for posting all of these scores and updates. I appreciate it. Very informative.

Also, great to see Liverpool beat the elite's favorites, Chelsea!

If one examines thelast three round summaries, themost disconcertingnumbers are actually those of the White English starters - 51, 55, and 56. These are unbelievably low figures for a 20 club league, whichequates to 220 starters per round.

The pool of White English (that is, English) playersavailable for potential selection for the national team is consequently laughably small, especially given that top English players very, very rarely move abroad. When one compares the pools of White players available to the national managers of Spain, Italy, and Germany, the England setup appears quite sinister indeed...

I'll bet you include even mulattos, who are less than 50% black, as "black".

I briefly looked at the stasts of PL and it seems obvious that PL has been "getting black" not only due to foreigners, but also due to native-born black "Englishmen". I estimate that they make up about 35% of all "blacks" in PL. So it is a socioeconomic issue in the UK, similarly like in France.

Black legionnaries in PL are less numerous than non-black players, and when you take into consideration that PL attracts the majority of black football players from the world, the numbers look far more impressive. Black players are rather rare in Italy and Spain, and not too prolific in Germany. The French "ghetto league" is a special case, of course.

Don't waste your time with these stats. Blacks don't have any particular predispositions for soccer (except for some positions) and their overrepresentation is always primarily socioeconomical. It is simply an occupation preference for those from the lowest part of the societal ladder.
