Anyone have an opinion as to why someone hasn’t been able to construct a low cost “money ball” style alternative team with nothing more than lunch pail carrying gym warriors?

if guys like Chris hogan and Dan Chisena are not even football players first and foremost (lacrosse and track) it would be interesting to build a least a fantasy team of great overlooked players .

I did it one year brother and won $1000 or so in my company fantasy team. I had a all white team except for one runningback woodhead was my other. Jordy made me a lot of money. I also had JJ watt who caught a couple touchdown passes as a part time tight end.

Moneyball is not needed in the NFL because the salary cap keeps most team salaries close to equal. In baseball it's not uncommon for a $200 million team to play a $40 million team.

Fair point. I guess I don’t follow these things as closely as I once did. Thanks for clarifying
