In addition to the Trea Turner thread who incidentily has a 6.9 WAR, here are some other MLB Rookies who are playing very well and should make an impact.
Obviously, LA Dodger SS, Corey Seager will probably be the ROY. He's been mentioned here also.
The next tier includes:
Colorado Rockies OF, David Dahl: BA: .333, 5 HR's, 17 RBI., SLG: .543. Only 22, he would have been up last year if not for an injury. Dahl tied a ML record by getting a hit in his first 17 games.
Boston Red Sox OF, Andrew Benintendi: BA: .324 in just 21 games before suffering a knee injury, however, it's just a sprain and he should be back before the end of the season.
Houston Astro 3B Alex Bregman. He started very slow. He went hitless in his first 34 MLB at bats, but is hitting .317 with a .508 SLG. since.
Atlanta Brave SS, Dansby Swanson. He's batting .279 in just 12 games and is a smooth and slick fielding SS. There are some highlights on the internet showing fielding abilities.
....we also know about Trevor Story and second year player Kris Bryant, the NL MVP. I probably missed some others, and I'll try to get to the pitchers later. Indeed the future looks bright!
