Unless more WRs get hurt, Mike Hass has zero chance to make Seahawks, so this latest signing to bring him back is simply to have another camp body until the first cuts are made. For any evidence of the NFL's racist policies against white position players, Mike Hass would make an excellent case study. Looking at his journey with the Seahawaks last year and this year, you can see clear evidence that he's been jerked around in favor of black WRs, some of whom have no business being on the roster. Seattle has a very average WR corps. It's mostly the same unit from last year, minus Burleson who left for Detroit. In a fair world, Mike Hass should have easily made the team last year. And this season, the WRs are even weaker. Oft-injured Deion Branch should be cut, Deon Butler should be seeing action on special teams only. Mike Hass should be WR #2 or 3, easily. Even Seattle's coaches and management went on record last year saying they are "perplexed" why Hass hasn't stuck on an NFL roster, and that all he needs is an opportunity.
