Since 2005 white starter list was 8,7,8,9,8,8,8,11,10,7 and 6 last year. About 6 this go around. Leonardfan was originally going to do this but he offered it up so I gobbled it up.

Tough team to deal with considering they lost the great Winovich and possible starter or at least on the cusp, WR Oliver Martin who bolted to Iowa.

And overall this team is just too caste. In fact Michigan has been caste for quite some time except for a few defensive stars the past decade.

Same problem this season as I can't find any white players on the two deep defense. But sophomore Aidan Hutchinson is huge and look for him to destroy everything in his path this season. A likely first round pick in 2021.

But they do have two diamonds that you just can't ignore. Starting QB Shea Patterson is my favorite returning college QB. Great wheels and buttery smooth in everything he does he is one of the most exciting college QBs going into this season.

And mark my word the NFL scouts will dump on him the same way they dumped on Josh Allen in 2018 and Daniel Jones after this past draft. The NFL media prefers their "athletic" QB's to be black. Patterson might not be projected as a first round pick just yet but I think he is vastly underrated. Look for his stock to soar this season. He was coming off an ACL and still looked fast. Imagine how he will look now?

CM's bro Dylan McCaffrey is the backup. A redshirt sophomore he is outstanding. He missed some games last year due to a collarbone injury but look for him to play more this season and then in 2020 he will be the man. Like Shea he oozes excitement. A top tier athlete with tremendous wheels he is built more like his dad and former stud WR Ed. Tall and rangy just like Ed. These QBs form the best and most thrilling dynamic QB duo in the country.

Two deep include OL Ryan Hayes and Stephen Spanellis. Perhaps junior WR Nate Schoenle # 81 will get some playing time now that Martin has exited?

Hopefully the offense opens up for Patterson. He was a very dynamic player at Ole Miss playing in a more wide open offense. It was frustrating seeing the Michigan offense handcuff him. Haurbaugh has been a big time disappointment in recruiting and team building - totally neglected the Stanford model which got him to where he is in coaching.
