So is Balotelli nearly finished at Man City? He wasn't even on the bench in a must-win match against Real Madrid. Our commentator said he "supposedly" has a back injury - IOW the commentator doesn't believe the official version. Last week Mancini made a critical remark about Balotelli's attitude so maybe he's on his way out. I just hope Brendan Rodgers doesn't have his eye on him.

the word is that he's very expensive because, you know, he's of messi's and ronaldo's caliber :icon_neutral: so liverpool shouldn't be able to pay for him

i am very worried about my favourite french club right now, PSG, because they are rich enough to buy him

if only he could go to china like all the black "stars" drogba, anelka, keita ect
they are paid very well (more than messi) but at least they are no longer in europe

Regarding Balotelli's possible exit from Manchester City, my last post was pure speculation. But despite Manchester City currently lying in second place in the Premier League (only a single point behind Manchester United and yet to lose a game) Roberto Mancini's problems are rapidly multiplying and this translates to bad news for Balotelli.

City were eliminated from the League Cup at the first hurdle (Third Round) at home by Aston Villa, a game in which Balotelli scored. That result wasn't the greatest disaster in the world, but wasn't exactly desirable either. Infinitely more importantly, City are also out of the Champions League, with the added embarrassment of failing to record a single win. Notwithstanding these pitiful showings, Mancini's side are still amazingly in with a chance of being parachuted into the ridiculously bloated Europa League - provided they can finish above Ajax. Yet even if this was to transpire, it would be scant consolation - both in terms of prestige and money - for the Gulf Arabs who have sunk a fortune into the club with the expectation that the team would seriously challenge for the Champions League trophy (or at the very, very least reach the knockout stages of the competition...).

With his job potentially on the line (just ask Roberto Di Matteo...) Mancini is even less likely to use an unreliable idiot like Balotelli, whose track record of rash, unnecessary bookings and disruptive tantrums combined with poxy play makes him an increasingly unaffordable risk in a scenario with minimal margin for error. For instance, he came on in the 86th minute of last night's scoreless draw against Chelsea - yet still managed to receive a yellow card in injury time.

If Balotelli doesn't receive much match time, he'll be even more of a whinging problem in the dressing room. This shall also limit his chances of being selected for Italy - which, of course, is a good thing.

As he is only just over two years into the five year contract he signed with City in 2010, both the club (waste of money with progressively less chance of recouping his huge transfer fee) and the player (waste of "career") wouldn't be keen on Balotelli making bit part appearances for the next season or two.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if Mancini did get the sack...

now it's over for balotelli at manchester city
today against manchester united, the most important match of the season, mancini started balotelli
that's an insane decision
the 2 usual starters are the argentines aguero and tevez
when both started a match, the results were perfect (they have been unbeaten and have scored a lot of goals)
so the only reason to not start both argentines would have been to give a start to dzeko, who has the best stats of the team, and scored many game winning goals out of the bench

but no, mancini starts balotelli, who only has 1 goal in premiere league

balotelli played woefully, had 1 opportunity but missed it comically, and tried many "swagger" moves and failed averytime
after one of these misses mancini looked angry at him and he asked tevez to come in
tevez changed the match and he created the first manchester city goal

here is the missed backheel by balotelli:

and here is mancini's reaction to it, calling tevez to come in in place of balotelli:

I wonder what was going through Mancini's head, selecting Balotelli for such an important game.Till when will this plague called "Balotelli"
(a JEWISH:angry: name FYI) haunt ManCity?
I'm pretty sure that if Mancini is sacked, the next manager will get rid of this abomination of a creature once and for all.And to think of it,they supposedly rejected a bid of 40m this summer!:mad2:

balotelli's big miss against manchester united
the score was 0-0 at this momment:

i think that it will be his last miss with manchester city

only 1 goal in premiere league! (and it was scored on a mistake by the black goalkeeper al habsi of wigan, and it took balotelli 2 shots to score this one)
and so many misses

Well, now that basically the whole world has seen that Balotelli is basically ****,the press comes up with excuses.

this ambition is hindering the striker's progress and Mancini's recent claim that Balotelli can rival even Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo served only to pile more pressure on a youngster who struggles with the spotlight.

Youngster?LOL!."Thug" is more like it.
Hey anti-white media, make up your mind.
Either he's good enough to be on the 23 man shortlist for the Ballon d'Or....or he's a developing player still who needs more time. You can't have it both ways!:juggle:

what a disgrace...and it's unlikely that he'll leave the club because PSG said no, the coach said that he didn't needed balotelli
i don't know if many clubs will have the money to buy him right now

balotelli getting closer to leaving premiere league, time to look back on his 3 years at manchester city:

a former player and coach about balotelli:

“I will only remember him as a great penalty taker,†he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show. “He’s got a great style. He leaves it very late and is a wonderful penalty taker.

“Apart from that though I’ve never understand what all the fuss is about. He’s got no work-rate. I’ve never seen a player walk as much as he does on the pitch.

“He doesn’t score enough goals and there are too many headlines off the pitch, what with the parking fines, fireworks and silly t-shirts.

“If you look back at City’s run-in last season, when they won the Premier League, he was a nightmare. It would be no loss if he left.â€

Balotelli said he didn't like the food in England (in my view British food is better than bland Italian stuff like pasta) and he also criticised the way they drive. Huh? I've been to Italy. I've seen how they drive there. He must be upset that the English actually obey the rules and don't play chicken with pedestrians. For some reason it wouldn't surprise me if Balotelli were a reckless driver. Anyway, I'm glad he's out of England. Milan is now the team I most despise in Italy.

So, they don’t have any Italian restaurants in Manchester? Or Indian? Or Chinese? Or whatever ? Hmmmmm………

Quite a claim ; )

He just needs to find something to grouse about; whatever it is the food, road traffic or the weather . Most players that spend some time in a foreign country tend to say mostly positive things about their time and their host country, how nice everything was etc.pp. But you can’t simply expect that from Balotelli.

the confirmaion of something i noticed last year:

article-2270166-173B3BB4000005DC-630_634x252.jpg

when balotelli played for manchester city, manchester city scored less goals, earnt less points, and lost more games
i remember last year, at one point it looked like manchester city had no chance to win the title, after disapointing results against stoke (not sure) and arsenal, matches played with balotelli
then balotelli got suspended for his red card against arsenal, and arsenal won every single game without balotelli
they ended up winning the title

Reminds me of Jermichael Finley, without the super affletic TE with unlimited upside the Packers win the Super Bowl. With him back they lose against the Chiefs...

also in the disappointing result against fiorentina balotelli was frustrated and he got a dumb yellow card, and because of this he's suspended for the big match against napoli
he could also miss the match against juventus

Why not? Johan Cruyff smoked 20-a-day during his active career : )

No wonder he had a heart problem at a young age. Today the sport is much more athletic with all the players on rigorous fitness regimes so competition is tougher. Besides, Balotelli ain't no Cruyff:)

He's been suspended for three matches, including with the two teams just above Milan in the standings, at the most important part of the season. After a good start with Milan I was wondering when the bubble would burst and surprise, surprise, it was discipline that let him down...again.

Those were different times. For example, (some years before Cruyf) the Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskas at his prime was 10-15 kilograms overweight, a smoker and a "party animal".
"Look at that little fat chap. We'll murder this lot." - an overconfident English player on Puskas, before Hungary demolished England 6-3 at Wembley in 1953, with Puskas scoring 2 of the goals.
