As one would expect, I recieve a large amount of news and articles relating to the Packers. One recent article in my hometown newspaper was about Marc. It basically blasted him, saying that he was inconsistent and dissapointing, something echoed by the tv announcer for the scrimmage that was televised tonight.

Then Marc caught a TD pass, and also caught another pass that I saw in my limited watching. Hopefully this will be a signal of better times for Marc on the Packers, who deserves a spot on the roster and definetely playing time.

White receivers and tight ends are not allowed to play in the NFL if they have bad hands, unlike God's Chosen Affletes who play those positions, many of whom have what may charitably be referred to as questionable hands.

Seriously, can anyone recall a white WR or TE with bad hands? Boerigter doesn't have them either, though if he's suddenly developed them he's in real trouble. I watched the Green Bay scrimmage where Boerigter squeezed the ball in the endzone in very tight coverage. Two minutes before that play the announcer declared that Boerigter had "done absolutely nothing" thus far in camp, pointing to some easy balls dropped. Hey, "Easy balls dropped" are a staple of NFL games.

A few minutes later the same white announcer

was praising the hands of a black tight end who successfully caught a gently thrown five yard pass that hit him between the numbers. Virtual highlight reel stuff that catch was.

One or two plays earlier, Aaron Rodgers threw the ball which looked to be clearly out of reach of Marc. Yet the announcer lamented about how 'he missed it'.

edit: I also wanted to add in my disgust for David Martin, a converted WR to TE for the Packers. He has been a dismal failure for years, yet he always sticks on the team because of his tremendous 'potential'. His hands are terrible, he dropped a pass that night and has numerous other drops as well. Yet again, he is given limitless oppurtunity while Marc hasn't even made the team yet!

I'm hoping Marc makes the team. The 06 Packers are much more white friendly than last year(2/3 starting LBs are white with A.J. Hawk being one of them). In addition, the line is as of right now penciled in as all white, along with all white QBs and the lighter skinned Noah Herron at RB. As a packers fan, I'm hoping they draft USC's Brandon Han******* to replace William Henderson at the FB position. Heck, who knows, maybe the Packers will copy the Raiders and adopt a more FB friendly approach by letting them touch the ball more, giving Han******* a chance to showcase his abilities.Edited by: Sark6354201
