There have been reports in the German media that Kubrat Pulev will face Oleg Platov in a 10 round fight in June, and whoever wins will receive a shot at the European heavyweight title.

Pulev-Platov fell apart again. It was scheduled to take place on Oct 30.

Now he'll face Dominick Guinn 33-6-1(22) on the Sylvester-Oral undercard.

I'm looking forward to this one!

Guinn is a very strong opponent for Pulev to be facing in only his 9th pro fight.

Kubrat will likely be ranked by one or more of the sanctioning organizations if he wins this.

Pulev UD over Guinn.

Easier win for Pulev than I thought it would be. He was in control every round, using a very effective jab and some nice hooks and straight rights.

Two judges scored it 80-72 and one had it 79-73, all for Pulev.

Great win.  Pulev is another top prospect at heavyweight.
Yes!
<div>great win for a fighter with only ten fights.</div>
Maybe he can get a fight with David Haye?  Nah, Haye only fights bums.
Europe's promising crop of young white boxers are deliberately being ignored by both the US and British boxing medias. I smell an IRON CURTAIN!

Pulev will fight Paolo Vidoz today in Germany, on the same card as Lebedev vs Huck.

PolSat is showing the Pulev fight (starts earlier than the main events, in about 3 hours or so) there may be a stream here.

Pulev, now ranked 15 by Boxrec, faces Ray Austin on May 7. Austin is ranked 21, so this is perhaps Pulev's toughest opponent in his career. Kind of similar crossroads fight to Helenius vs Peter.

Kubrat Pulev defeated Derric Rossy by 5th round TKO.

He was more aggressive than usual today, throwing a lot of hard shots, trying for the KO right from the beginning of the first round.

I think Pulev and Boytsov are the two best young heavyweights today.

After his win over Rossy, Kubrat Pulev is now ranked #12 by the WBO and #15 by the WBA.

Kubrat is fighting Belfast's Martin Rogan on July 16 for the EBU-EU (European Union) heavyweight title. Rogan has had wins over Audley Harrison and Matt Skelton.

This will be Kubrat's first 12 round fight and first for a regional title.
Rogan is the fool who said that if you just put "Pressure" on the Klitschkos they would fall!

Kubrat Pulev is fighting a tough Ukranian today, Maksym Pediura.

Martin Rogan backed out of the fight, saying he needed more time to prepare. So Rogan-Pulev for the EBU-EU heavyweight title will likely happen in the fall.

Kubrat Pulev is now scheduled to face American Travis Walker.

Ranked as BoxRec #50 heavyweight, Walker is a dangerous puncher. He's been in with opponents like former WBA champion Ruslan Chagaev and HW contender Chris Arreola.

Unbeaten heavyweight Kubrat Pulev (14-0, 6 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over game Travis Walker (38-7-1, 30 KOs) in a clash for the vacant IBF International heavyweight title. Pulov built up a lead as Walker slowed down. Walker had little left in the ninth and was deducted a point for losing his mouthpiece. Walker barely made it back to his corner after round eleven and somehow made it through the twelfth, as well. Scores were 119-109, 118, 109, 117-110.
