I've started a list of Black heroes because I've noticed that a lot of black role models have a lot of notoriety and so I've taken the time to compile a list. Now I know whites have had people they consider icons or folk heroes for the wrong reason such as Jessie James, but it's not on the level of blacks.
Black Icons

Bobby Seales- Black Panther fonder. Suspected murder of FBI informant Alex Ruckley.

Ray Lewis- Football Player accused of involvement in Superbowl murders.

Don King- convicted of two diferent murders.

Angela Davis- activist, provided the guns that were used in the abduction and murder of Judge Harold Haley. Now a Professor at UC Santa Cruz.

Huey P. Newton- Junkie, Involved in the murder of Police officer John Frey.
Stanley "Tookie" Williams- convicted of four muders, ( a white store clerk and three Asian-Americans) and two armed robberys. sentenced to death. became an icon and had a movie made about him.

Marcus Garvey- Racist Loon. Had an African Triangle belief, everything blacks do should go to aid africa. HE LIVED IN THE U.S. AND JAMAICA AND DIED IN ENGLAND.

C-Murder- Rapper murderer.

Sam Cooke- Musician rapist.

Mystical- Rapper rapist.

O.J. Simpson- accused double murderer.

Marvin Harison- accused of murder, police dropped the case for lack of evidence.

Leonard Peters- Native American.activist and murder.

Wayne William- Atlanta Child murders. numerous blacks don't believe he commited the murders dispite no alibi, andoverwhelming evidence.

Mumia Abu Jamal- Cop Killer on death row.

Willie Bosket. New York subway murders. 15 year old juvenile offender.

Craig Price- 15 year old murderer of two women and two little girls.Had a rap album while in prison.

Jose Padllia- convicted of murder in 1985. Terrorist sympathizer.

I also forgot George Jackson the activist and prison guard murderer. His brother was the man who murdered Judge Harold Haley, under George's advise.

Don't forget the Jena 6, black high school kids who ambushed and beat a white kid unconscious for suspicion that he said an undefined anti-black comment, though all witness testimony proved that kid didn't say anything and that it was a completely surprise attack. A reported 10,000 strong black lynch mob descended on the town of Jena demanding that ALL CHARGES BE DROPPED!

What is so wrong with Marcus Garvey? He may not have been completely on the up-and-up, but overall, he was a positive role model for Negroes in America. He is a helluva lot better role model than Marxist Looter King!

haha I remember right after I got out of high school and he quit the kill-all-Bloods to switch to kill-white-debils and all the local blacks were pretending to do their burglaries with a paramilitary tilt. Seriously has here been a black man famous since 1960 that wasn't a dirtbag in some way? Maybe conservative blacks like Clarence Thomas or Walter Williams but they aren't considered "heroes" in the jew-moderated black hero catagory.

Any non-violent, non-militant black man is rarely "famous"Â￾ in the first place. "Uncle Toms"Â￾ such as Bill Cosby, Walter Williams and Clarence Thomas are the antithesis of what a "mainstream black hero"Â￾ should be. Our Jewish friends don't want kindhearted black role models"¦they want black murderers of white men.

George Lincoln Rockwell and Malcom Little (X) shared the common ambition of "racial separation."Â￾ Rockwell was in Ivy League educated Naval Lieutenant turned non-violent, pro-white political activist. Malcolm Little, as you said, was sordid to the core. Little's grandfather was a white man"¦which adds an ironic twist to his catalog of deficiencies.

Rockwell was a national pariah, a "Nazi,"Â￾ a source of hatred, the reverse of everything a modern American white man should be and should think....whereas Little is an inspiration for love and black unity.

People are putting some stupid undeserved people on the list, but the ones that I am mentioning here are more than flawed, they are in fact dangerous. Many of them are murderers and for the most parta large portion of the african-american community has glorified their behavior. Tookie Williams murdered four people in cold blood and then wrote childrens books. However he had never up until his dieing day apologized or evan show a hint of remorse for what he did.

The only black I know of who made any scientific advances was Joseph Black (16 April 1728 â€" 6 December 1799) a Scottish physician, known for his discoveries of latent heat, specific heat, and carbon dioxide.
