At any one time there must thousands of American ex-pats living in Europe especially over here in the UK. I was wondering if this site could help as a place for ex-pats to network with like minded brits like myself who would like the game to develop in the UK but don't have the coaching skills, badges or experience to start leagues and teams themselves for juniors right through to adults. Most of the amateur teams that do exist in the UK that play in the BritBowl that I've seen, seem to be very self absorbed and not interested in getting involved with youth clubs, schools, big employers to expand their clubs and the league and at the elite level the route into NFL Europe doesn't seem to be casting their net very wide other then London which is packed full of blacks which is crazy when we have the best Rugby players in the world (Nearly all white) and a lot of them who wouldn't make it in Rugby have the size and ability to make excellent Football players.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might start to facilitate such a network?

You are off to a good start. I would suggest using the internet. Chances are many people that would be interested would look there first. Think about starting a yahoo or AOL group, it's free and relatively easy. You can also get a website, there is a small cost and some extra work but you only have to do as much as you want. Start a club and get a phone listing (even if it is your home number) and a web address to contact, even if it is your own. I'm sure you will generate some interest and then you can recruit others to help. Best of luck on it and please keep us informed.
