Who is the future of white mma? In the ufc it seems a bit thin. At heavyweight the top guys are velazquez, JDS, Hunt, Werdum, Bigfoot? Is the top white guy Mitrione? Hes exciting but isnt getting younger. I dont have*much hope for Nelson or Mir. Crocop is over the hill. Maybe Todd Duffee? In Bellator theres a few Russians making noise. I dont no much about M-1... anyone care to share their thoughts?

I forgot about stipe miocic, though id like to see him maybe gain some weight and power. Shawn Jordan has a similar build to Cain Velazquez, hopefully he can put some wins together.

I'm hoping that some of these former wrestlers and football guys Hawkeye mentionsin 2015 mma prospects thread will start making more appearances in UFC world. I think in a year or two there will be a White American Heavyweight champion and several contenders.

The UFC changed dramatically once Dana White and crew went to the networks, trying to get a contract. Hell, I'll flat out admit I was told by someone who would know, that White was told the UFC needed to be more "minority friendly". In short order, white fighters were ignored - the change was like lightning (this all around the time of the Kimbo fiasco lol), and in an astounding display of propaganda theater, a steroid fueled coke addict, Jon Jones, was manufactured into a champion, sponsored by the UFC! How is a champ who's sponsored by the organization going to be allowed to lose?

As for the heavyweights, of course there are White guys out there better than Cain and the others you mentioned. Whether or not they are actually being 'scouted' or considered by the UFC is the real story.

The UFC turned into a controlled fight club for the most part. They don't necessarily have to rig fights as much as ignoring fighters. Do this long enough, promising Whites simply lose interest and the melanin enriched folks that are catered to will dominate.
