This video is from 2008 but Dorneden ran for a Big 10 team and at the 2008 indoor Big 10 championships she was running the 600 meters against 3 other competitors. She got knocked down with exactly 200 meters to go and she jumps back up behind the third place girl by about 25 to 28 meters. She slowly winds up to speed and with a 100 meters to go she catches the third place girl and then proceeds to run down the last two and wins by about a foot. If someone could post this because it is very inspiring. Thanks.

Thanks for the help Jimmy Chitwood. I know there are not many track posters on here and I am more interested in the men's short sprints and relays but this was probably the most impressive athletic endeavor I have ever seen maybe other than Jason McElwain , an autistic kid who was to short to play on his high school jv basketball team so he becomes the team manager for 3 years and everybody in that school loved that kid. His coach on the last game of his senior year lets him dress and with 4 minutes to go and his team ( Greece Athena, NY ) up by 20 puts him in the game. The crowd goes insane and after missing his first 3 pointer by at least 4 feet he comes back and drains 6 3 pointers in the final 3 minutes including about a 23 footer with 3 seconds left in the game. I always thought the crowd watching Mike Eruzione score his memorable goal was the most enthusiasm in 1980 but this dwarfs it like the Earth dwarfs the moon. I have never seen people go crazy like that especially when he starts getting hot and I believe he swished all of his 3s while scoring another 2 pointer. If you could post that in the basketball section or Happy Hour ( the 5 minute youtube version ) that would be awesome. Thanks.
