My sister and I went to see Ole Miss and Arkansas play football in 2003, and got to see a treat. All of the scoring was done by white guys! Ole Miss won 19-7. It was probably the first such game in many years for either one of the schools. Ole Miss is a very black team now, and Arkansas only slightly less so. I'm glad that was my sister's first college football game to watch. Both touchdowns were by white fullbacks, and 4 Jonathan Nichols field goals, who won the 2003 Lou Groza Award, and will be kicking in the NFL next year. Of course, Eli Manning was the QB, and Matt Jones was the Arkansas QB. Check below for the box score. Watch Arkansas HB/FB Peyton Hillis in 2005. As a Freshman last year, he scored 8TD's and was out for half the season with injuries. He was their leading scorer behind the kicker. The Arkansas-Auburn game will be a good one to watch, with hopefully Hillis vs. Smith at HB.

In my original post, I stated Vandy was the whitest team in the SEC. This was incorrect. Kentucky(9 starters)is, followed by Vandy (8), and then Auburn and Arkansas with 6.

That was a real throwback game scoring-wise if not starting lineup-wise. When I saw Mark Pierce's touchdown run in the box score it brought back the memory of this little nugget from Caste Football's Media Racism and Stereotyping archives (10/12/02):

"The Florida State-Miami matchup on ABC on 10/12 was interrupted to show a studio highlight from Arkansas' upset of Auburn, this particular one showing Arkansas white fullback Mark Pierce scoring his second touchdown of the game on a 40-yard run. The studio announcer during the highlight mentioned that there was a penalty flag on the play but it was against Auburn. When it was returned to the game, the play-by-play announcer sneered, referring to the highlight just shown, 'There could have been a flag on the play for slow running'."

Yeah, that is almost unreal. Those guys are so full of PC its coming out every hole in their bodies. I've already quit supporting Ole Miss because of their unabashed dislike for white players in any other positions besides OL and QB. What a change for a program with such a proud tradition.
They had 3 National Championships when they were all white: 1959, 1960, 1962. I knew when they banned sticks in the stands to keep us true fans from waving the beloved Confederate flag, the Chancellor and AD had ulterior motives. Boy, what a change from that year of 97' to 05'. The new Ragin Cajun coach will likely bring in more blacks to the already 80% black roster.
It can't get much worse than Cutcliffe's last year where in the initial recruiting class, 14 were black, and 1 white, next years starting QB Robert Lane. So many white players in Mississippi go unrecruited by the Big Three here, especially the Academy players. You have guys running for 2,000 yards a season regularly who never get a shot anywhere decent. I'm almost at the point where I don't want to even watch college football.
