Falcons receivers

Not surprisingly, the Falcons QB's last night completed 22 of 32 passes for 252 yards and 2 TD's and the same receivers that have been vilified for years as incompetent looked just fine.

I have already heard some excuses for the Falcons improved passing game. It's only preseason, vanilla defenses, bad defenses, etc. etc.

I think I will be rooting for the Falcons to have a strong passing attack and it will be interesting to see if Vick's name gets mentioned if the Falcons receivers start piling on the yardage and TD's.

It would be great to see a guy like Harrington, who the media regularly beats up, easily outperform Vick and show the media that the Falcons receivers never were the problem.Edited by: GWTJ

Harrington should do pretty well in the Falcons offense, if his receivers continue to manage to catch the ball. His successwould be another majorembarrassment forthe black QB promoters.

I like how Ron Jaworski aggressively jumped to the defense of Joey Harrington early on when Tony Kornheiser began the same old media drumbeat against him -- that the Falcons will miss Vick's "big plays" while Harrington is a bust. Jaworski was good the whole game from what I listened to. A nice step up from motor mouth Caste junky Joe Theisman.

I love Jaworski"JAWS" becuase of his great insight and analysis of games. He doesn't use cliche terms while annoucing but actually abides by his job's title of "analysist". Jaws breaks down plays and gives explanations as to why a play did or did not work. In short it is a plaesure to hear Jaws on the air.

I think the whole thing revolves around the idea of "Touch." Most black QB's don't have a sense of touch. That is, they deliver the ball with the same velocity if the receiver is 5 yrds. away, or 50 yrds.
No touch.
