ESPN's 30 For 30

I see promos for ESPN's "30 for 30" series frequently. The only one I've ever watched is the one about the Red Sox. EVERY other show is about either some black athlete(s), or a white coach who coached black teams. Well, maybe there was a NASCAR one in there, but I just don't consider racing a real sport.

We are being told, in essence, that there were no great white athletes in the past. Why, for instance, don't they have a show about Denny McClain? Talk about drama, fall from grace, and great achievement! Or Mark "The Bird" Fydrich? Again, a story with tragedy and triumph. How about Greg Cook? The possibilities are endless, but ESPN is bound and determined to convince the public that in the past, sports were utterly dominated by blacks, much as they are now.

It's so frustrating to not only have to put up with endless glorification of today's substandard, affirmative action infested pro sports, but you can't even watch documentaries about historical sports figures now, because they've been shoved down the memory hole, except for white coaches.

I actually have enjoyed a few of these 30 for 30 episodes. The one looking back at the USFL and Wayne Gretzky leaving Edmonton for Los Angeles I really liked. The epsiode on SMU's football program in the 1980's was okay.....But, in total, I agree, most of them have been mediocre-to-poor, so I stopped watching about a year ago.

I'm actually surprised they are still doing 30 for 30. I was under the impression it was going stop after the shows creator (Keith Clinkscales) was caught spanking his monkey on a airplane while he was sitting next to Erin Andrews?

The most stupendously anti-white installment of ESPN's “30 for 30” is the episode concerning Allen Iverson’s high school legal troubles stemming from a wild interracial melee at a Virginia bowling alley (in which Iverson struck a white women in the head with a folding chair) instigated by Iverson and his feral crew of chocolate chumps. The documentary is called: “No Crossover – The Allen Iverson Trial.” The piece (of trash) features so much disturbing commentary from so many different whites interviewees, all of whom seem to be attempting to reach a new pinnacle of “white guilt” with concern to the “ray-o-cist” treatment of Iverson following this incident.

Another highly repulsive installment (called “Run, Ricky, Run”) centers on the effeminate, paranoid, lazy, drug-addicted weirdo, Ricky Williams, and his bizarre life after quitting football. A wigger DWF essentially lives with Ricky, following him around, watching him do Yoga, asking him questions and receiving the inane answers of a borderline-gay drug addict trying to “discover himself.”

Of course, the documentary happily interviews all three of the filthy, sewer-level, pig-faced mud-hooker girlfriends that Ricky impregnated (with 5 of his Satan-spawn brats) then promptly left to fend for themselves.

The Iverson doc was exactly that, but the Williams doc painted him as a crazy borderline drug addict who was frittering away his money. Well at least his "posse" was a bunch of Beavis and Butthead types....

Yeah the Ricky Williams episode did Ricky no good. He came off as a self-centered flake, kinda a black Joe Don Looney.

One of my faceorite 30/30 is the Marcus Dupree episode. Dupree is exposed as a lame brain led by the nose by an unscrupulous race-hustling Patrón. Dupree's mother saw that Oklahoma players were sopping up booster gravy and told him to get his snout in the trough. When OU asked Marcus what he wanted, he said a new double-wide. Hell's bells! The Sooners woulda built that sucker a house and furnished it if he'd have half a brain to ask.

Yes Dupree came off as Black version of Jed Clampett. I will say this after getting scammed out of his money he could have gone to the bottom of the barrel and been a stereotype and gone to jail or become homeless instead he got his truckers license(not any easy feat) and works as truck driver.

Don't compare Jon Don Looney to Ricky Williams!
Jon Don was not a drug addict nor did he leave bastards behind. He even served in Vietnam. Loony was ahead of his time and was misunderstood.
Even white screw ups have more morales than affeths.
