I'll be damned if Lovie will get away easy with hiding this guy's talent.
Peterman runs routes almost as good as Wes Welker and makes guys miss like a scat back with the ball and has an insane burst. Peterman can separate on his longer routes too with his 4.45 speed and he has solid size and appears to be tough with good hands as well...Not saying he'd definitely be better than Hass, but I definitely like Peterman's potential better.

I will need some posters to help me argue on Youtube and elsewhere. We can't let Lovie get away easy with his racism toward another elite talent white skill player. I will ask posters who help me though, to not mention race directly on that PC censorship site Footballsfuture and nowhere else either unless other arguments aren't working. Out of any of the white WRs, I'll be most angry if Peterman gets screwed. I'll post links via PM for those who want to know where I'll be when I decide to start arguing for Peterman. Good idea. I'm no expert on the DWF boards, but it seems as though any mention of race in a way favorable to whites (or that mentions that whites may not get a fair shake) is cause for instant banning. Am I right about that?

It actually depends on the board. On Footballsfuture you usually get one warning for even mentioning race and than get banned (they are PC to the extreme). Many boards still allow racial stereotyping to be brought up, but tend to lock a thread much too quickly if they think it is getting "dangerous" and will also ban you quickly if they think you're "racist".

Figures the Bears would cut this incredible player. I guess they prefer scrub WRs over talent. If Peterman isn't even practice squaded, plugging his talent on Youtube will be futile so we'll have to wait and see. This is by far the worst cut of the season so far and with Lovie and Jerry Angelo I'm not the least surprised. These players have to think about where they sign. A team's weak WR corps is not the main thing these players should be considering when signing a FA contract.

Bears sign TE Angulo, WR Peterman
Feb 22, 9:24 pm EST

Buzz up! 18 PrintLAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP)â€"The Chicago Bears have agreed to one-year contracts with tight end Richard Angulo(notes) and wide receiver Eric Peterman(notes).

The team announced the signings Monday.

Angulo has 17 receptions for 155 yards and a touchdown in 27 games with St. Louis, Minnesota and Jacksonville. He was also a part of the Bears' practice squad during the 2006 season.

Peterman, an undrafted free agent from Northwestern, spent the preseason with the Bears and final week of last season on their practice squad.

hopefully Martz will want to use him as I can't think of many receiving threats on the Bears roster right now.

Exactly dwid, because they have next to nothing. TE Greg Olsen is far and away the Bears' best recieving threat. Hester and Knox are O.K., I guess, although Hester has that hands of stone affliction. I didn't watch many Bears games, so I'm not sure on Knox.

Maybe we can have some positive here on what looks to be a break-out year withthe ever increasing WR's...trendy?? Are just plain common sense...if it were not for Gerhart or the WR position I would not be watching very much of the NFL Combine...

I would expect to see Decker, Shipley & Cooper making big impacts there rookie seasons if they stay healthy! Blair White(5th), McGaha, Jurovich, Meier; Wolfe and possibly Austin Rogers to All be Drafted....and players like Pat Simonds, Bryan Anderson & Johny Spevak to sign as free-agents...ADD to that Matt Jones and Kevin Curtis(hopefully healthy) and there will be some spreading of the wealth!!

The Rooney Rule applies for minority coaches...guess their should be a newly implemented Welker-rule for minority WR's??

Oh yeah...Chass Gessner should be on a NFL Opening Day Roster in a fair-world..and Todd Blythe should be in a training camp as well...Edited by: TwentyTwo
