Golf.com is reporting that the PGA has put Dustin Johnson on a 6 month ban/suspension for testing positive for cocaine! The report also states that Johnson has failed 2 other tests in 2009 and 2012.

I had no idea, but I'm glad the PGA is dealing with this. I only wish they would have somehow tested Tiger Woods for steroid use!

This is sad news for one of the great young talents in the PGA. I hope he gets it together.

Not saying I saw this coming, but I'd been having a bad feeling about Johnson of late. The celebrity gf thing and it appeared to me an attitude of being a little too full of himself.

With the kind of money pro athletes make, it's certainly easy for some to give in to vices and let their demons get the better of them, though we expect better of golfers. Hopefully Dustin gets his head right because he is immensely talented.

Very strange news out of the PGA. The PGA is saying that Dustin Johnson has not been suspended, but that his decision to step away from the Tour is voluntary.

Earlier, Golf.com reported that Johnson has failed his third drug test in 5 years. Something's not right here.
