Game manager Teddy Shitwater was named the starter today by Vic Fangio who obviously has something against him.

I expect Shitwater to be benched by mid season.

Hopefully the Blackos stumble out of the gate. Faggio went with the perceived safe option which will cost him his job Bridgewater failed miserable last year when gifted the job in Carolina. A positive is that the Broncos don't have much to root for anyways. From what I have seen and read Lock seemed like the better performer during training camp.

Broncos are content to dink n dunk and run the ball with washed up Gordon. They think they can ride their Defense again to a Super Bowl..Not likely this time.

They could have signed Mitch Trubisky for cheap but they'd rather trade a draft pick for a player who's never had more than 15 touchdown passes in a season in his 6 year career. Yet somehow he's better than Trubisky, according the the MSM. Unreal.

They would be better served bringing Peyton Manning out of retirement. I am “confused” but not “surprised” by this decision. The language in the sports reporting is what always really gets me, I guess because I still have an attention span past the previous sentence.

I will read that despite inconsistencies, Trey Lance “exudes exponentially more potential” with “athleticism” than Garoppalo. Drew Lock, on the other hand, does not “exude potential” but rather hurts the team despite his inconsistent flashes of brilliance, so Bridgewater gives the Broncos the best chance to win! Is this three card Monty or just “heads I win, tails you lose” rationale? We are expected to read these synopses one after another and nod with the expert sports journalists before beating off to a football season of nacho chips and auto leasing.

I know I’m venting to the crowd here.

    Bad news:

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Broncos LB Josey Jewell (pec) is out for the season.
Monday testing on Jewell's Week 2 injury confirmed he tore his pectoral and will miss the remainder of the season. Jewell had seven tackles and a forced fumble through the season's first couple games. It's a setback for a Denver defense that has been one of the league's best in the young 2021 season.

Someone mentioned in the weekly thread that Jewell was likely injured while playing Special Teams! WTF? Why is your starting MLB playing any special teams?! I guess Fangio couldn't find any other pale faces to be WSTDs and spare his starter!

Is that the only White man on defense? The Broncos were already ridiculously black before this injury. I hope they lose the rest of their games.

Yep, and of course he's the one starter the DWFs love to hate on despite his very solid play.

Sad to see the Broncos' decline. They were at least a middle-of-the-road Caste team just a couple of years ago.
