Should the Packers consider going with a 3-4 defensive system come next season? They signed Brandon Chillar to be a reserve linebacker, yet he is currently sixth on the team in tackles. Get him out there as a starter with Hawk and Poppinga.

Kampman is not necessarily an ideal 3-4 end. 3-4 ends are usually bigger, geared more towards run stopping, like Pittsburgh's Aaron Smith or Brett Keisel. Kampman is a skilled pass rusher and good tackler. Not really a "gap-filler".

I see your point with the linebackers, but putting Kampman in a 3-4 would not be wise, considering his skillset.

Same with KGB Philly Birds. Especially with Cullen Jenkins out now their d-line would get manhadled and the o-linemen would be able to get to the second level, handicapping the linebackers playmaking abilities!
