It's hard not to have hope when the Rams took Funk and Skowronek late, but it's the NFL so we'll see  What will suck big time is if there's not a single team that's relatively White friendly. Right now I'd say the Rams and Vikings come closest.

I am curious to see what kind of rapport Stafford and Kupp end up having. Goff was at his best targeting Kupp, I feel McVay became way too involved in play calling and forcing Goff to make certain reads and throw to certain players as Don alluded too. Kupp is one of the best WRs in the league though, probably the closest thing we have to a Jordy type right now.

A bit off topic but I'm also rooting big time for Jared Goff this season. He had really blossomed under McVay's tutelage and then suddenly it started going downhill, about the same time Kupp was demoted and taken off the field for a significant number of plays midway through '19. When Goff was on he threw the sweetest long ball in the league and excelled at short and medium passes. He had proven himself worthy of being the top pick of the draft. That's why it's not a good idea to expect too much from the Rams because the NFL specializes in disappointing over and over. But I will continue to hope both Stafford and Goff thrive and there's a good chance both will though Detroit has lackluster receivers to be sure. Hopefully Chad Hansen makes the team and is allowed to thrive.

For some reason the media and fans in Detroit think Goff is garbage and are counting the days until he can be replaced with some college upsider.

The guy has had a lot of success, won playoff games and went to a Super Bowl. Somehow he has lost all ability to play?

I think he does well, however the team is bad so it might not make a difference how well he plays.

For what it’s worth I also think Stafford is going to be real good for the Rams.

according to the analytical chart provided at the aforementioned link, Kupp is clearly in a class all his own and is VASTLY underrated. a couple other of our men are also among the best at getting open and yards-after-catch: Danny Amendola and Cole Beasley. they also are terribly underrated. i wonder what the common denominator is ...

It's because he's white, of course, as we all know here.

Are there any white starting quarterbacks in the league that the anti-whites and the DWFs don't want replaced?

Cooper Kupp is currently 3rd in the NFL in Receiving Yards but he is only 11 yards behind the number 1 guy. If they continue to throw to
him I have no doubt he could easily lead the league in receiving. We all know the NFL doesn't want that. I remember Wes Welker came so
close one year. Somehow, some way I hope the Rams do the right thing and continue to feed this man and the results will speak for themselves!

Update as of today. Cooper Kupp is currently the number 1 receiver in the NFL in Receiving Yards! He can easily win the title assuming he stays healthy as
long as they continue to get him the ball. He cannot be stopped except for by the coaching staff like they showed last season. Free Cooper Kupp and just
watch him shine! Superstar in the making!

Is it just me or does "Cooper Kupp's filthy move on TD" seem to have some negative connotations attached to it? Just like with words such as "deceptive shiftiness", "crafty routes", "plays with a nasty streak", and so on, you never hear the word "filthy" being used to describe jukes and spins performed by black players. Almost as if they're trying to imply that Kupp doesn't have the athleticism to beat defensive backs legitimately and thus is forced to rely on his ability to "steal" a touchdown.

And this may be a bit of a reach, but it reminds me of the same arguments against "European imperialism". The white man didn't conquer the land inhabited by Native Americans and Africans via sheer force and raw strength, they're obviously deficient in that department so they needed to resort to shady and dishonest tactics.

I've heard the word "filthy" used many times when describing a play by a Black athlete. Nothing derogatory about it at all, just the opposite.

just a quick reminder regarding Kupp ... when watching him completely annihilate and embarrass opposing defensive blacks, remember that he wasn’t “good enough” to get a single Division One scholarship offer.

Yes indeed Jimmy Chitwood! Hard to believe it was over 7 years ago a thread was made for Cooper Kupp under College Football Stars(now back on Page #3.) After his Freshman season winning Jerry Rice Award you knew he would be special! It has been fun following him thru his career!

Larry Fitzgerald raved about Cooper Kupp during his NFL Rookie season; he knew too!

That is an extremely well-written and thoroughly positive article about Kupp! Usually when one of our guys has some positive things mentioned there is always the, "However", "but", or "his weakness is glaring here or there, etc", and paint him as the lunchpail, blue collar, "hard-working" White guy. I was pleasantly surprised and the columnist is from Yahoo!...(I wonder what he'll have to do to atone for such a fine piece).

Thanks for sharing that, Don.

Yes indeed a great article. I hope they don't fire or punish the writer because the truth shall set you free. In this upside down clown world he may be
at the unemployment office. I hope not as all he did was state the truth. Cooper Kupp is an all time great in the NFL and he is far from done!

Awesome highlights, the man can run like a tailback after the catch! Whoever the color guy was on that game didn’t like Kupp. Not one positive statement about him and long pauses after each big play trying to give credit to either stafford (which is cool) or his blockers. When a white man makes a big play there is typically a long pause from the color guy trying to figure out what to say. Chrissy is real bad about this.

it is truly amazing how often Kupp is WIDE open. obviously opposing defenses scheme to take him away, yet he routinely has 5+ yards of separation on passing plays. perhaps teams should target players similar to Kupp, and his skill set, as opposed to seeking out straight-line sprinters ...
