Hail Colorado State!

The Colorado State-BYU game wasn't on TV in this area, but I just checked the box score and in addition to Anderson's great game, every single player on Colorado State who threw, ran or caught the ball in this game was white! When was the last time that happened with a I-A team? I'll bet it's been quite a while since even BYU and Boise State had a stat sheet like that.

Jaunarajs rushed 24 times for 88 yards and scored 2 TDs. Kyle Bell, the freshman with all the talent, had 4 rushes for 19 yards. Dustin Osborne had 5 receptions for 76 yards.

For BYU, Austin Collie, the great-looking freshman WR, led the team with 4/60/1. His TD was another long one, 40 yards.

It's a shame Colorado State is struggling, but that game must have been a fun one to watch by any football fan who is aware of the caste system!

I'm really shocked that they played Bell. As much as I want
to see him play, why wait this long into the season. Its almost
half over & to play him now on a losing team is a waste. They
should have just redshirted him the rest of the year.Either
way,I love Colorado State and they are probably one of the
funnest teams to watch out there.I hope Bell can become the
starter before the end of the season. What more can you say
about David Anderson except Wow!!He's a stud. Byu has alot
of talent and Collie will be a star for the next several years.

I'm with you Donwas on Chase Lyman. He is up to the 22nd
leading recevier in the country but yet look how little they
throw to him compared to the other receivers on the list. He
literally averages over 30 yards per catch. Why wasn't this
guy played more. Its more than just saying he was hurt and
we both know that.He has all the tools and is one of the top
3 receivers in the Pac 10!Chase finally gets a chance in his
senior year. What a crock.Well, I guess its better late than
never.Lyman needs to have a huge year, a big game at the
Blue/Gray All Star Game, and a great combine.I'm pulling for
him.I think than Anderson and Haas should have it a little
easier because they are both headed towards their 2nd
1000+ yard seasons and they are both juniors!

Another good day of college football.California gave USC
all that they could handle as the Trojans barely escaped
with the victory. The qb for Cal threw 23 straight completions to tie the Pac Ten Record! They should have
got the ball the Chase Lyman more though.Wisconsin
improved to 5-0 as Owen Daniels had a nice game. Texas
Tech destroyed Nebraska 70-10! I don't think anyone has
ever beat the Huskers that bad.Texas Tech is fun to watch.Purdue also stayed undefeated as Orton continues
to be the favorite for the Heisman so far.ASU is headed
for a show down at USC next week in the battle of the
Pac Ten.The Sun Devils have a excellent shot to pull the
upset over USC.Looking forward to that game,Col. State
attempting to rebound,Oreg.ST trying to get back on track, and Navy with its perfect record going down to
play at Notre Dame. Can you say Eckel.I expect Kyle Eckel
to have his biggest game of the year to show all the big
Division I Teams what they missed out on.Take Navy in
a upset to stay undefeated!

Kyle Ingraham continues to contribute to Purdue's offense each game. He's coming along well for a freshman.

It was nice to see Texas Tech destroy Nebraska with their black "throwing" quarterback being totally outclassed by the Tech passing game. Nebraska does have a white receiver with a lot of ability, Ross Pilkington. He had only 3/22 in this game, but had 8 catches the week before.

I was amazed to see how black Idaho State is. They were playing Montana and I expected to see two predominantly white teams except of course for tailback and maybe WR and the defensive backs. Montana was mostly white on both sides of the ball, but Idaho State had only 3 white starters on offense (QB and two linemen) and just 3 on defense. It makes me respect Boise State and some of the other Western schools even more, because if Idaho State can recruit a black team they could too, but don't.
