The off-season was one of the most excitingperiods of the year when I was growing up. I rubbed my small hands with glee as Ieagerlytracked the transfers between clubs and fervidly speculated how the teams which were thus being created would fare in the new season.
These days, however, Ifollow proceedings with a mixture of nail-chewing dread and vein-bursting rage as I obsessively count the number of blacks and other non-Whites glutting the once-proud clubs I watched as a wide-eyed little boy...

Anyway, here are a few of the recent transfers. All players are White unless otherwise noted.

Phil Jones: Blackburn Rovers to Manchester United

This is a very good move by Sir Alex Ferguson. Too bad that United are close to signing Aston Villa's black midfielder Ashley Young...

Jordan Henderson: Sunderland to Liverpool

Good stuff.Another Englishman at Liverpool

Brad Friedel: Aston Villa to Tottenham Hotspur

Kevin Nolan: Newcastle United to West Ham

Yohan Cabaye: Lille to Newcastle United

Demba Ba (BLACK): West Ham to Newcastle United

Michael Mancienne (BLACK): Chelsea to Hamburger SV

The Qatari owners of Malaga CF have certainly been busy:

Ruud van Nistelrooy: Hamburger SV to Malaga

Joris Mathijsen: Hamburger SV to Malaga

Nacho Monreal: Osasuna to Malaga

Jeremy Toulalan: Lyon to Malaga

Miroslav Klose: Bayern Munich to Lazio

Andrea Pirlo: AC Milan to Juventus

Reto Ziegler: Sampdoria to Juventus

Michele Pazienza: Napoli to Juventus

Hearts have been quite active:

Jamie Hamill: Kilmarnock to Heart of Midlothian

Mehdi Taouil (ARAB): Kilmarnock to Heart of Midlothian

Danny Grainger: St. Johnstone to Heart of Midlothian

John Sutton: Motherwell to Heart of Midlothian

Graeme Smith: St. Johnstone to St. Mirren

It appears that Newcastle United are the latest Premier League club toimport "Frenchmen" en masse:

Newcastle shop for new recruits in France

Newcastle United's French revolution is gathering pace. Not content with signing the midfielder Yohan Cabaye from Lille and the winger Sylvain Marveaux from Rennes this month, as well as the French-born Senegal striker Demba Ba, formerly of West Ham, Alan Pardew has his sights set on at least two more France-based players.

The agent Pierre Frelot has confirmed that Newcastle are interested in two of his clients, the St-Etienne and France midfielder Blaise Matuidi and PSG's Turkish striker Mevlut Erding, and that both men are receptive to hearing what Pardew has to say.

Meanwhile Newcastle's manager appears ready to listen to offers for the Argentinian winger Jonás Gutiérrez but has made it clear he hopes to keep Gutiérrez's central-defensive compatriot Fabricio Coloccini.

Joey Barton has once again used his Twitter account to reiterate a desire to remain at St James' Park before departing on a free transfer when his contract runs out in May but José Enrique, Newcastle's left-back, is still expected to leave.

That's highly regrettable, as the Magpies were one of the "Whiter" clubs last season...

ouch!

it amazes me how many non white players are rumored to change clubs

while forlan for example, has no offer

on a positive note, barcelona seems to keep the same number of non white players

and liverpool is building a very strong white team, they will be unstoppable next year, i'm sure they will finish first

they are rumored to buy brazilian goal keeper doni, of northern italian descent

they have a very strong and poxerfull WHITE defense, with skretl, carragher, agger ect (fabio aurelio, brazilian of italian descent too)

like always, steven gerrard in the middlefield, with lucas leiva, of northern italian (venitian) descent, mereiles, maxi rodriguez, poulsen...

and amazing fowards like caroll, suarez, kuyt...

the only non white players for now: glenn johnson (i think he will play, but the best place to have a black player is on the sides, because if they make an error, there are other defenders to stop the attack)

david ngog (he can't play, there is too much talent with caroll and suarez)

and nabir el zhar (he won't play)

diego lugano, currently in vacations in mexico, said that he will no longer play for the turkish club he played for since he came in "europe"
he is close to signing with juventus turin (it would be a good thing, and juventus can win the serie A with him)

or he could go ta brazil, santos, but he is such a legend in sao paulo, he doesn't want to play for another brazilian club
