I have never watched it before, but this year it will be shown in my area. So who are the players to watch, and what teams do they play for.

The Toronto Argonauts are my favourite CFL team, as they live in Toronto. Eric Crouch was our 3rd string QB last year, but this year he is battling with 43 year old legend Damon Allen and former Heisman runner up Michael Bishop. Our best receiver is Arland Bruce, and our RBs are 2 former NFLers in John Avery and Jamel White.

Here are some highlight videos from last year.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_83gCOe18Q (includes Ricky Williams)

The best players in the league at their respective positions are (in my opinion):
Quarterback: Dave Dickenson (British Columbie) Has some health issues.
Wide Receiver: Arland Bruce (Toronto) Best offensive player on my Argos.
Slot Receiver: Geroy Simon (British Columbie) Last year's MVP.
Running Back: Joffrey Reynolds (Calgray), Charles Roberts (Winnipeg) It's a toss-up.

Defensive Back: Korey Banks (British Columbia) Simply Amazing.
Linebacker: Barrin Simpson (Winnipeg)
D-Line: Brent Johnson (British Columbia)

Notable White players are: RB Josh Ranek (Edmonton), RB Jesse Lumsden (Hamilton), WR Marc Boerigter (Calgary), WR Ben Cahoon (Montreal), SB Jason Clermont (British Columbia), and DL Brent Johnson (British Columbia)

The defending champs are the British Columbia Lions.

lol excuse me, Ben Cahoon isn't a speed burner but he is not slow. He is like a Marvin Harrison with less speed. He has the best hand in all CFL and he ran the routes really well and make always big catches, he is so good in the trafic, in my book, Cahoon would be able to be a 3rd receiver in the NFL 'cause he really have the better hands i've ever seen, he NEVER drops easily balls and drop one ball on 15 when balls are difficult!

You're just saying that cause you're from Quebec. All of these skills are always shut down by the Argo defence.

At least you are courteous enough to argue in English. I'm glad you all are here.- But that was kinda funny.

give to Cahoon a QB like Jessee Palmer and watch the results
Calvillo>Palmer

yeah thats a fact, thats also why palmer is retired and calvillo is still playing, even though he is the less clutch player I ever witnessed.
Today Palmer is better than Calvillo, I mean do you watch Calvillo last season? he was just miserable, simple like that, and he wil lbe the starter just because his name is calvillo and had a couple of good season, anyway he is not a winner

yeah, I know he is not a very good quaterback, he lack velocity like I rarely seen it, my high school QB had a bigger arm. But palmer is really overrated. He hasn't done squat since being in High school, he was only decent in a very friendly QB system at florida and could never get a starting job in 5 years despite being a first-day pick.

And from what I hear Jesse Palmer is still a bachelor...lol! IMO I've had enough of that reality TV soap opera BS. Still Jesse Palmer sucked more in the NFL than he did on that show.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Jesse Palmer retired after the coach told him he would be a backup cause Calvillo was better.

i spent time in canada and watched some games. the cfl is good because it gives canadian kids something to aspire to. in a cold weather climate the kids can still play some football and work towards becoming a pro. the bad thing is the black pieces of crap the teams bring up from the usa

Yes siree,Bob.The CFL does give Canucklehead kids something to aspire to in this cold, cold country known as Kanata.I gave that some serious thought when I stepped out of my igloo this morning to do some ice-fishing led by my team of Huskies.Traveling by sleigh,it's the best.
