The Buffalo defense has looked great recently and they were actually a majority white defense for much of the year. Shoebel, Kelsey, Williams, Wire, Poz (now on IR) Diorgiano, Leonhard all either started or saw significant snaps. And yes they have Wendling waiting in the wings! All the white men who have played have played very well. Yet, Buffalo keeps losing b/c of poor offensive play. Leonhard looks amazing. So did Poz before the injury, the "overachieving" white D-linemen are getting a great rush.

The Buffalo D was downright dominant against the Cowboys, getting 5 picks off Romo, yet somehow the Bills still lost, Despite only giving up a mere 7 or so offensive points. The Bills Defense is really clicking. But I know how fans and media are, they won't get any accolades unless the Bills start winning!Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Injuries and the terrible Bills offense has really hurt the defense. I believe they were dead last in the NFL in both run and pass defense going into the Dallas game, so they're not going to be getting much in the way of accolades until the offense improves (not likely this year with a rookie QB, a lousy sumo o-line, and awful receivers after Lee Evans) and the defense doesn't have to be on the field all the time. But there's no question the whites who have played are NFL caliber starters.

Silly thread on my part. I should have looked at their cumulative stats as a defense first before making the post. I was merely basing this analysis on Buffalo's last two games which I watched. Their D looked pretty good in their week 4 win against the Jets. Leonhard as usual was all over the field making plays in the early part of the game before he got hurt

.

Then in week 5 they intercepted Romo 5 times and looked downright dominant. Cumulatively they may be 32nd in the league in total yards given up, but I think it is in part their CBs. They have gotten lots of interceptions from Leonhard at safety and other players, so they are getting some big plays. They are 31st against the pass, and 25th against the run. Their porous offense is clearly a detriment to the defense; giving up field position and possession time, so are their CBs IMO. All the white players on defense are playing at least solid, most well.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

yes, Anderson was reportedly a disappointment. but from here to cutting him? however Bills being a fair team to whites, defensively, makes me think there might be something to it. they just recently signed yet another white LB, Blake Constanza to their PS, still have Dustin Fox etc.
