Jamie Cox, a promising undefeated 20-0 White British boxer has been convicted of assault and using violence to force entry and will be jailed for 6 months, in addition to having to pay compensation fees to his exgirlfriend. The victim is Jamie Cox's ex girlfriend a Russian sex worker and stripper (and likely prostitute).
Apparently according to the 2 articles above there is absolutely no evidence that he physically assaulted her. As in, she sustained no injuries and has no cuts, bruises, or swelling to actually substantiate her claims. It seems like the Police, Court, and everyone involved has decided from day 1 that her word is somehow more substantial than his.
It's an old fashioned her word against his word and apparently the word of an admitted sex worker carries enough weight in the courtroom that a man can be convicted for an alleged crime with absolutely no sort of evidence whatsoever.
Just another example of how "the system" favours women and a woman can ruin a man's life just on her word alone. You would suspect him being a boxer that if he assaulted her there would be some sort of visible injuries but no. Just her accusation is all it takes to ruin a promising boxer's life.
