any chance for Chas Gessner?

I don't even see him listed on the Tampa depth chart at Wide Receiver but he keeps playing and making receptions for them in pre-season. Anyone know anything about his chances of making the team?

he has a decent shot at making the roster, but then again he looked like a sure thing last season and all he got from Bucs after a great preseason is a spot on PT... i really hope h emakes it this time!

update: Paris Warren, Chas' rival at WR got injured after having a good game for Bucs. that certainly gives Gessner more of a chance, but his roster spot is still far from safe...

update: Chas cleared injury waivers and reverted to Bucs IR, so he's lost for yet another season...

yes, but he got a medical waiver. what it is, the team gives any oter club a chance to claim him, pay him and nurse him back to health. if he cleas the waivers he goes back to the releasing team and reverts automatically to IR. so now he's a Buc, but just like Mike Alstott, lost for a season. at least he's still getting A NFL paycheck
