Corruption and graft? Within FIFA? (gasp) Why,that's impossible!
Just in case You were curious, "Lord" Triesman is a Jewish ex-Communist Party member (one marvels at thebestowal of Life Peerages...)

FIFA to investigate new bribery claims

FIFA presidential candidate Mohamed Bin Hammam and controversial CONCACAF chief Jack Warner have been summoned to face the governing body's ethics commission over bribery allegations.

FIFA announced on Wednesday that they had opened the investigation to examine the conduct of four officials - Bin Hammam and Warner, along with CFU officials Debbie Minguell and Jason Sylvester - in relation to claims made by executive committee member Chuck Blazer.

Blazer, who is the general secretary of the CONCACAF federation, has alleged that violations were committed under the FIFA code of ethics during a meeting organised by Bin Hammam and Warner on May 10 and 11 - the same time Lord Triesman had accused Warner of demanded money for a World Cup 2018 vote - in relation to the upcoming FIFA presidential election, which takes place on June 1.
Bin Hammam is the president of the Asian Football Confederation and is running against Sepp Blatter to be the new president of football's governing body. All four officials must be in position by Friday to attend a hearing in Zurich on Sunday (May 29).

A FIFA statement read: "On May 24, 2011, FIFA executive committee member and CONCACAF general secretary Chuck Blazer reported to FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke possible violations of the FIFA code of Ethics allegedly committed by officials.

"In particular, the report referred to a special meeting of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), apparently organised jointly by FIFA vice-president Jack A. Warner and FIFA executive committee member Mohamed Bin Hammam, which took place on May 10 and 11 2011. This meeting was linked to the upcoming FIFA presidential election.

"In view of the facts alleged in this report, which include bribery allegations, FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke, in compliance with art. 16 of the FIFA code of ethics, yesterday requested the FIFA ethics committee to open ethics proceedings.''

The chairman of the ethics committee, Claudio Sulser, will not oversee the proceedings because he shares Swiss nationality with Bin Hammam's presidential rival Blatter, and this could be construed as a conflict of interests. The meeting will instead be chaired by the committee's deputy chairman Petrus Damaseb of Namibia.

The new investigation follows on from a separate inquiry launched earlier this month by FIFA into claims made in the British Parliament regarding the bidding process for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups last year.

Former Football Association chairman Lord Triesman alleged during a culture, media and sport select committee hearing that he had witnessed "improper and unethical'' behaviour by four ExCo members - including Warner - during his time as England's 2018 World Cup bid chairman.

Triesman alleged that Warner asked for cash to build an education centre; that Thailand's FIFA member Worawi Makudi wanted to be given the television rights to a friendly between England and the Thai national team; that Paraguay's FIFA member Nicolas Leoz asked for a knighthood; and that Brazil's FIFA member Ricardo Terra Teixeira asked Triesman to "come and tell me what you have got for me''.

Two other ExCo members - FIFA vice-president Issa Hayatou of Cameroon and Jacques Anouma of the Ivory Coast - were accused in the committee of having been paid $1.5 million each to back Qatar's successful bid to host the 2022 finals in a submission to the committee by the Sunday Times newspaper.

Earlier this month the FA sent a full dossier of Triesman's allegations to FIFA, while the organisation also requested that the Sunday Times submit any evidence they had to support their allegations of wrongdoing in relation to the Qatar bid.

Things are certainly getting ugly prior to the FIFA presidential election on Wednesday 1 June. Current president Sepp Blatter is now alsothe subject of an investigation:

Fifa has opened an ethics investigation against its president, Sepp Blatter.

The action follows a charge by Mohamed Bin Hammam, his rival in next week's presidency election, that Blatter knew about alleged cash payments.

Tomorrow'sFIFA ethics committee hearing ("ethics" - that's a prime jest...) shall be chaired by a Namibian (yes, that's right) judge, Petrus Damaseb:

They might as well hold the damn thing under a big top...

All joking aside, this is quite a pivotal juncture in the history of the ultra-corrupt FIFA, for the Arabs / Asians are making their move to gain a measure of political ascendancy within the administrative organs of the sport. The Arab and Asian influence in football is growing with their numerous purchases of European clubs and the farcical awarding to Qatar of the 2022 World Cup.

This is what always eventually happens when the so-called Third World bands together against the Europeans inelections.Let's be honest - theAsiansandAfricans were always kept in line via less-than-subtlebribery, but now that the Arabs are in a position to bung everyone lorry loads of cash and buy out debt-riddenEuropean clubs, they are attempting to slowly squeeze Whites out of the top jobs. One only has tocast aneye over therecent history of the ICC (International Cricket Council) to seehow this works.

Elections within sports governing bodies mirror regularpolitical elections - i.e. unless they are generously bribed to do otherwise, non-Whites shall vote for anyone but a European.

Well, it appears that Sepp Blatter's meticulously established and well-greased network of "friends and associates" has ensured that he shall obtain a fourth term as FIFA president, as he is now the sole candidate. This means that one corrupt fellow has staved off the challenges of other corrupt fellows.

<DIV =-group>FIFA should hand back our money: Xenophon
<DIV =-group>

Independent senator Nick Xenophon is urging the federal government to demand that the $45.6 million spent on an unsuccessful World Cup bid be handed back.

The South Australian senator says "not one more cent" should be spent on any further World Cup bids until the corruption scandal engulfing the international governing body, FIFA, is resolved.

"It appears corrupt and highly questionable behaviour goes to the core of FIFA," Senator Xenophon said in a statement on Monday.

Australia spent almost $46 million on a bid it was never in the running for because bribes were being taken for votes.

"Now we hear that bribes may have been made to fix the result for who will head up FIFA," Senator Xenophon said.

It has been alleged that two of the sport's most senior figures made cash gifts to national associations in return for their votes in next week's FIFA presidential election.

This follows allegations that representatives from voting nations sought bribes worth millions of dollars in return for their vote for Qatar to win the 2022 World Cup.

"The fact that corruption appears to be so pervasive in FIFA makes you wonder whether we should continue to invest millions of dollars in bids for events we'll never even be in the running to win," Senator Xenophon said.

"Until the investigation into FIFA has been completed, Australia must hold off spending any more taxpayers' money on any future World Cup bids."

The lunacy continues.

Now that Blatter has been "re-elected" as FIFA president (for a fourth term), he has asked 88-year old Jewish fossil Henry Kissinger to "help clean up FIFA"

Kissinger, eh? Now that's a fellow with a "clean" record. Look at the prune-faced old Yid:
