Last November I counted up all the white players on NFL practice squads and it came out to about 29%. Recently, I looked at it again and going into this weekend the percentage of whites on P-Squads has risen to about 34%. That's a 5% rise from when I counted it up at the end of 2010:

2010 Thread: http://www.castefootball.us/forums/showthread.php?12465-NFL-Practice-Squads

Here's the updated 2011 breakdown, by position -- 88 whites/about 256 P-Squad spots:

10 QB's
34 OL's
9 TE's
5 FB's
2 RB's C. Reynolds, Rams; E. Kettani, Patriots
8 WR's C. Hall (Phil); A. Tanner (N.O.), T. Grisham (Pitt); J. Hastings (SF); D. DePalma (NYG); S. McKnight (NYJ); J. Maehl (Hou), T. Beiler (Jx)
11 DL's (several of these DL's can be considered 3-4 OLB's)
6 LB's
3 DB's K. McCarthy (DN); C. Maragos (Sea); C. Jones (SF)

** Teams with the most white P-Squaders, as of today, are the Patriots and Rams. Both have 6 (teams are allowed 8 P-Squaders). Denver is next with 5. Six teams have 4 (half their PS roster). They are Houston, Cincinnati, Oakland, New Orleans, San Fran. and Indianapolis....If one where to count all the players on the Patriots P-Squad and IR list, I believe the team would come close to being majority white, which is surprising.

** Arizona, which has an entrenched pro black GM, Has ZERO (0). No big surprise there, as I guess their small spike in white starters means a drop in white backups and no P-squad slots for crackers.

** Green Bay having just 1, is a major disappointment. It's Graham Harrell, by the way. He's one of 10 QB's on P-Squads. Many teams are trending towards just 2 QB's on 53 man rosters, so these P-squad QB's are defacto #3 QB's for most of their teams....Also, in addition to drafting a sumo bust (so far) in round one, the Packers have a pair OL sumo projects on their P-Squad, so they probably were embarrassed by having an all white line in 2010 and set out to change that.... The other teams with just one 1 white athlete on their P-squads are: Miami, Buffalo (new black GM), Minnesota (new black HC) and Dallas....Nine teams only have 2 whites on their P-squad.

Final Note: These guys on P-Squads make about $5,000 per week. That's roughly $85,000 per season, although there seems to be so much change on PS rosters, that very few stay for an entire season.

My simple(ton?) theory is that the coaches use the white guys on the practice squad to push the regular (mostly black players) during the week. The coaches know the white guys can play fairly well, and the coaches can expect the guys on the PS to play their eyeballs out in an attempt to impress the coaches, especially since the PS guys have the talent (but not the melanin) to play. After all, there's that carrot out there. "Oh boy, if I just play well enough on the PS, eventually they'll give me a shot." NOT LIKELY, WHITE GUY. Frankly, I bet the white guys make better PS players 'cause they're more likely to put up with the BS and the (caste) system than the black players. But that's just my theory. After the time is up on the PS, the white guy gets CASTE aside and the PTB easily find another PS dummy to take their place. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Q, those are some very good points and I have often thought about that. Also, some teams that are really anti-white (Arizona, Pitt), seem to love to sign up to 7 to 10 undrafted whites some years just so they can jerk them around in the pre-season then cut them. These undrafted white guys (goys) have very little chance to make a roster from the minute they arrive, but work their @sses off while they are there.

But, how about the "Caravan Theory" that's floated around in the back of my mind from time to time? Some would say what the heck is my "Caravan Theory"!!!

Back around 2004, when James Harris was the GM in Jacksonville and before Marxist Redskins' owner Dan Snyder hired Mike Shannahan, those teams seemed to have only 1 or 2 white starters each year and had very few white backups on their 53 man roster. My theory was these teams needed whites on their practice squads so they could load them (along with the punter, kicker, long snapper, #3 TE, a few blonde cheerleaders and the team mascot) into a huge mini-van when they need to go into the suburbs to greet some soccer moms in an attempt to sell more tickets (or team gear) to their retarded DWF husbands or whigger sons -- sort of a way to put a white face on their almost totally black product?

Also, it's good public relations for some owners (many are liberal and Jewish) when they can dispatch some clean cut white boys into the inner city in order to mingle with and read to minority school children. News outlets love to report this sort of stuff **

In this economy, I do think $5,000 per week on the PS is nothing to sneeze at, so these whites are "sort of lucky". On the other hand, if it were not for the Caste system, as we refer to it, these guys (goys) would be making at least $20,000 per week. So that's the sad part, especially when you consider well over 90% of paying costumers are white in most NFL cities.

Great points, Truth! It makes sense that they would keep a few white practice dummies around just to do some PR stuff and push the real players in training camp, etc.

Looks like you can delete 1 of the white safeties from the PS list for a few games, at least:

Weenieworld, as usual, reminds us he's only a special teams mascot and can't hang with the affletic types on defense:

49ers promoted S Colin Jones from their practice squad.

They'll need to waive a player in a corresponding move this week. Jones was the 49ers' sixth-round pick in April, drafted specifically to contribute on special teams. He won't be an option on defense.

Another great post, TT. Your “Caravan Theory” is highly original in explaining why these Fundamentally Africanized organizations would even bother pursuing white talent through reverse-tokenism.

Naturally, your money-oriented, “merchandise-peddling” hypothesis presents NFL owners, coaches, and GM’s in an ever more sinister light as opposed to mere allegiance to the Caste System.

Thanks for the input gentlemen. Thrashen, "reverse-tokenism" is an excellent term. I think even the most anti-white coaches, owners and GM's know that they can't field teams that look like Grambling and Alcorn State. So completely deranged caste-whores find a way to, at least, load up a caravan of white players they can send out into the community.

For example, back in the latter 1990's the Vikings had something like 20 or 22 black starters (OC, LT were only white starters), under radical black panther Dennis Green -- who, ironically, has had several white wives and many mulatto kids (including ex-ESPN writer/felon, Jeremy). Anyway, Denny likely wanted an all black dream team, but probably knew he could only go so far in the very white state of Minnesota -- hence, he would always praise his "great special teamers", which included whites like Chris Walsh (WR), Pete Bercich (LB) and Jason Fisk (DT). Reality is, none of these guys was a high impact player, so the white-male hating coaching could've easily replaced them with black players. But the truth is, the little gay sheep we know as the DWF's can't fill the seats in NFL stadiums alone -- thankfully there are not enough of these prideless louts. Some more sane whites have to buy tickets, purchase merchandise and watch on TV. Hence the sprinkling of token "crackers" on even the most Caste ardent teams (Bucs, Steelers, ect.).

It will be interesting to see how the Steelers go once A. Smith, Keisel and Hoke are retired. Will they finally draft a few key whites to go with Ben and Heath Miller, or will Tomlin simply keep 5 or 6 tackle dummies/whites on the P-squad to fill the caravan? Don't forget, the team has no cheerleaders, so they can't dispatch a bunch of porn-star-wannabe blonde bimbo's out to glad-hand the DWF's.

It looks to me like the opposite.
The practise squad was 29% white last year and after the cut off is was higher right 35 or 38% or so, so blacks are more likely to be cut off this was the case for the year before too If I rerember.
I never have seen an nfl match but this had my interest becuase this is an indication that whites that come into the practise squat are better(have to be better) on average then the others. So the % whites in the practise squat have to be higher
But how do you come into the practise squat?

Oh I did mean with practise squat the pre season squad before cut off.And of that i remember for sample of 2 years that the pre season squat was less white then the squat after cut off.

But how do you come into the practise squat?

This summer, due to the lockout, NFL teams were allowed to go into preseason games with 85 players. These games are similar to European soccer 'freindlies', except NFL teams only play other NFL teams -- no exhibitions against other leagues (i.e CFL, UFL, Arena League) or teams from other nations (i.e. MLS soccer, NHL and NBA teams). Most teams play 4 preseason (or exhibition) games and must gradually trim their rosters down after each game to 53 players by the start of the regular season.

So, if only 53 players made teams, that means 32 did not make teams. What happens to these 32 men? Some injured players go on injured reserve (IR) and are payed full salaries while they heal. Most older players that are cut must hope some other team signs them or they simply retire -- remember NFL careers, on average, are less than 5 years, so 30 is considered old at some positions....But most of the players cut are younger, eager men recently out of college. Teams are allowed to keep 8 on their "practice squads'. Simply put that means they are on the team and allowed to practice and attend team functions, but are not allowed to play in regular season games -- unless they are promoted to the 53 man roster (after someone is cut or placed on IR).

** Again, NFL practice squad players are mostly young and recently out of college. Players that have spent an entire season in the NFL (16 games) are not eligible to be placed on p-squads. They are sort of like 'reserve league' squads in Euro soccer, except there are only 8 players, so there is nothing similar to 'reserve league games'. These players just practice and, again, never play until they are promoted.

** The minimum salary for a young NFL player is about $300,000 per season....Practice squad players make about $85,000 for a full season. So while players might be glad to be on the practice squad, they can make, at least, 5 times as much money if they are promoted.

** Quite a few current Caste favorites have spent time on practice squads -- Danny Woodhead, Danny Amendola and, believe it or not, Pats wide receiver Wes Welker was a Chargers practice-squad player for a short time in 2004. So this is not a totaly meaningless designation. Many players, of all races, start on the practice squad and eventually get promoted.

**Waterbed, the practice squads constantly change, so it is hard to go back year-to-year and get a complete accurate reading. When I looked at P--squads last Novemeber (a snapshot) there were 73 whites (out of about 256 players)....Last week there were 88 of 256....Hence the 5% rise.

Interesting, I start to understand it Thanks. The only thing I still don't understand is why 53 players isn't enought and they need another 8 in practise:)

Good question. Again, I think it's two-fold:

1) Some of it has to do with teams needing extra bodies to practice with. For example, a growing trend in the NFL is teams are keeping only 2 QB's on their 53 man roster, so a 'third arm' is often needed just to make sure the receivers can train properly. Colts found this out years ago, when Peyton Manning was getting a 'tired arm' from throwing too much at practice. Colts actually used punter Hunter Smith as the #3 QB at practice for a few years. But that simply is not wise, so most teams with 2 QB's leave a p-squad spot for a #3 QB.... Also, because so many veterans at even more stacked positions sit out with 'minor injuries' during the season, extra, eager bodies are needed.

2)These squads are also created for 'developmental purposes' -- allows teams to keep around promising youngsters. This is sort of like Reserve League players in European soccer, except they don't play Reserve League games (due to the small rosters). They are being groomed, hopefully, to be full-fledged players.

Thank for the information, interesting.I think its a good idea of the 8 players for practise and so you can see how good they are.In soccer you get often not a chance when in the 2nd team except if you are extreme talented, otherwise you need the coincidence that a 1st team player gets injured of your playing position so that you can show yourself.A lot of soccer managers don't want to take risks.

Just when it went really well with me in soccer i went sick with pain in muscles and very tired muscles I thought my bloodflow was not good.
Most Docters didn't take me serious and couldn't find anything except some nutrients i needed but think mostly that it is on your head, when they don't find it.
After reading for thousand hours or so I thought i probably have a virus which is causing nitric oxide overproduction and not good blood flow.I came to the hypothese I read that considerable amount of people in studys with my kind of pain had relatively high% flad red blood cells with little flexibility.I read somewhere else that nitric oxide is good for flexibilty but very high nitric oxide counterproductive, the opposite.Another thing I read was of virus and higher nitric oxide. Not difficult to combinate this information, And see that this is possibilty can be true for at least some people with my pain.I problem with docters is that they often think this virus is not dangeres for people and that one is etc. not realising that they are people with certain mutations in which you cant stereotype it all together becuase people with uncommon genes react differnently. Now i am struggling to get the medicine I think I need. The real one I need isn't sold in europe becuase of low bioaviabilty.(you just have to take a bit more pills). In steed they sell a product with a high bio aviabilty with ingredient that has to change in the liver, but that is hard for the liver but they probably tought taking in a few more amount that isn't absorbed is more important and bad then damaging the liver.....

Waterbed, I've never heard of what you are talking about in regards to a nitric oxide virus. I take nitric oxide supplements before physical activity to improve peformance.

whiteathlete,

I know nitric oxide can be good for blood flow but a very high amount is counterproductive and can cause problems.
With viruses(nitric oxie plays a role in anti virus) stress and injuries it can go very high.Maybe also you can have problems when you get virus when you have injury and that your nitric oxide get skyrocket.Nitric Oxide when its get too high can also bond with superoxide and become nitrates en making less room in the little veins when nitrates gets higher then your body can handle.
With me the problems started after hamstring injury.I read often with people that they get strange pain after injury
