K-State has started 11, 11, 10, 5, 11, 8, 8, 5, 10, 12, 12, 10, 12, 12, 11, and 11 since 2005. In 2021 they look to be at 11 again.

Defense is gonna look pretty bad this year compared to years in the past, there is some solid depth though. S Ross Elder started 7 games last season but it looks like he will be a backup this season. WR Kade Warner (Nebraska transfer) is a wildcard and could become a solid contributor on offense. LB Cody Fletcher and QB Skylar Thompson should be the highlights of this team in 2021. Almost all of the starters are seniors so this team could probably look a lot different next year, some of them will have 2 seasons left with the extra covid year. For some reason the Big 12 decided to move everyone’s eligibility forward anyways so it’s pretty hard to tell how many years of eligibility each guy has left.

Players to watch: QB Will Howard, FB Jax Dineen, WR Kade Warner, WR Landry Weber, WR Seth Porter, WR Eric Hommel, TE Nick Lenners, TE Sammy Wheeler, TE Konner Fox, OT Witt Mitchum, OL Hayden Gillum, OL Logan Long, OL Dawson Deforge, DE Nate Matlack, DE Spencer Trussell, LB Ryan Henington, LB Austin Moore, LB Nick Allen, S Hunter Henry, S Ross Elder

Great to see! Hopefully Kansas State and the rest of the Big 12 as it stands will have the Oklahoma and Texas games circled as grudge matches.

Jax Dineen rushed for nearly 4000 yards in highschoool but signed on with Kansas st. to be a blocking back and maybe get 12 receptions a year. I don’t understand how these guys Dads allow this to happen? He should have went to North Dakota st. (Who recruited him) or a division 2 school to be a feature back.
