Kent State true freshman WR Luke Floreia getting a lot of playing time tonight, so far 2-31.

Dustin Crum 300 passing yards + 2 TD’s and 90 rushing yards + 2 rushing TD’s and halftime JUST ended.

Crum having a masterful game for Kent St. He was the QB who outclassed last year's black quarterback hype job Jordan Love in their bowl game. Have yet to hear any sort of discernible draft buzz for Crum.

He is currently 17/19 300 yds 2 TDs with 10 carries for 90 yds and 2 TDs rushing too.

was a joy to watch Crum shred Akron tonight, he will definitely play on Sundays as teams that are serious about winning will give him a chance. I can see the Pats, Colts and 49ers giving him a long look as they have the coaching to use him properly. The rest of em either have a QB in place or are too caste to ever win more than 6/7 games.

After the 8 - 121 game last week ; Former Walk-on WR Tanner Knue received a Full Scholarship LAST NIGHT in front of thrilled team mates!...... ....nice sliding TD catch for Eastern Michigan! They have cool looking helmets with the "Iron" patterned chrome " E " on the green.

Might as renamed Maction to Blaction. EMU not playing Samson Evans at all. MAC teams with half white defenses seem to be a thing of the past.

I was cautiously optimistic about Akron coming into the season but Arth has sold out. He does not play Knight enough and gives 30 carries to his skinny black RB instead.

The younger Mike Golic is just about as big a cuck as his old man. Just made a comment about a black player stating how the NFL values "traits over production" - the beat goes on...

One would think Babers should be developing players and viewing this season as a mulligan since it will have an asterisk next to it in the record books. Babers decides to maintain his caste system mentality instead - his record at Syracuse us is 24-33

Minnesota’s Ibrahim has 16 touches, all runs, (for 75 yards, 1 touchdown, and a long of just 9). Ibrahim, at 5-10, 210-lbs is a talented pure running back who is featured as the bell cow despite being one dimensional; he can only run the ball, but the Gophers coaching staff takes full advantage of this one skill.

Purdue’s Horvath has 8 touches, 5 runs and 3 catches, (for 48 yards, with a long run of 6 and a long catch of 16). Horvath, at 6-3, 230-lbs is a complete all-purpose back; he is both a physical runner and deft receiver, yet his coaching staff limits his touches, with nearly half not coming until their final drive of the first half.

one would think, based on near-universal coachspeak regarding physically wearing down an opponent and wanting versatile playmakers, it would seem obvious which player has the higher “upside.” but that (White) player gets significantly less, and far more sporadic, usage than the more limited (albeit talented) player.

can you guess which team has the lead at halftime? methinks it’s not hard to figure. if coaches really want to win, it’s “weird,” huh?

Reminds me of back when I used to waste time trying to reason with DWFs on forums. I pointed out that Mike Alstott -- who used to push trucks around in his spare time -- was the perfect example of a power back who should be a bell cow runner precisely because of his ability to wear down defenses. It of course never sunk in; the DWFs would come up with various reasons why Alstott wasn't capable of being a featured back, plus Tampa at the time had little Warrick Dunn, who always split carries with Alstott when not dominating them, and all DWFs loved Dunn.

Glenn Mason - one of the Big Ten Networks seems beyond awful. Nothing real complimentary on Horvath who has been the offensive spark in the second half for Purdue. Just states that Indiana wanted him as a walk on LB - the typical caste speak and expectations for a white kid wanting to play division 1 football. He was the former coach of the Gophers back in the late 90s to mid 00s - have to wonder what his teams looked like back then.

Perhaps more important than the number of touches a white RB receives in a game ( Horvath has had several in the 2nd half and looked good, while his white QB has only 2 incompletions) is the fact that your defense has been carved up for 5 TD’s out of 6 possessions. Minnesota’s O-line has been dominant.

Zander Horvath is stuck on an average team with mediocre at best coaching. Yes he should be given the ball 20 times minimum on a weekly basis. We can see that and yet we don't get paid millions to coach. What a joke.

He would have easily had over 100 yards tonight. At the moment he has about 64 yards averaging over 7 yards per carry. He also has over 40 yards receiving.

It's not just about him getting 100 yards every week. It's about time of possesion and winning games but don't tell the coach that. He will disagree.

BS Call on Payne Durham for the go ahead TD. Next play white LB Josh Aune seals the game for Minnesota. Horvath was not used enough and still ends up with over 100 total yard - 10 car 68 yds/5 rec 50 yds

Minnesota DB Calvin Swenson was also out there quite a bit and made some tackles.
