With no Thursday night games for the last two weeks of the season, the early games are now on Saturday. And as far as early games go, these are all pretty good from a football fan standpoint.

First up is the Houston Texans at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Should be an interesting game for Leonardfan to watch as he would have to decide on which high-profile quotablack to bash the most! ;) In all seriousness, the only reason to watch for me is to see if Scotty Miller can get some snaps and some balls thrown his way. Also Cameron Brate is a good TE to watch. As for the Texans, this team is about as black as you can get, so any support should probably be aimed toward the Buccaneers with "Mr. Interception" Jameis Winston at the helm.

Next up is the Buffalo Bills at the New England Patriots. This is a game worth waiting for as it features the best of the old (Tom Brady) vs one of the best of the new, Josh Allen. I'm looking forward to this one.

Then we have the L.A. Rams at the S.F. 49ers, which features two of the best young white QB's in Jared Goff and Jimmy Garoppolo. Although the Rams' season is lost, it should still be a good game between division rivals.

Miller was placed on IR, but Justin Watson will be Tampa's number two receiver with Mike Evans also on IR and Chris Godwin out with a hamstring pull. Winston has been piling up the yardage of late so maybe Watson will have a big game.

I agree with FootballDad these seem to be a nice set of games Saturday before the injury plague started to intrude. Not sure if Edelman will play?

And of course WR Scott Miller being out is a bummer because I rarely have seen the Bucs this year but yes perhaps it will give Justin Watson a chance to shine.

I am really getting disgusted with the Cardinals. HC Kingsbury has caste punk written all over him it seems. Even at Texas Tech when WR Dylan Cantrell had some moments I never bought into this guy who always seemed to be leaning towards the caste side of the ledger. Cantrell was never a main focus of the receiver core. His unwillingness to play Isabella any meaningful minutes grates like hell. This is a team that has been going nowhere so you figure they would give the young talent a chance and with Murray they have given him the torch . But the white guy no. WR Larry Fitzgerald is a little banged up and hopefully he sits and perhaps Andy gets more snaps but while Fitzgerald is a certain Hall Of Famer he never was especially fast and now can be timed with a sun dial. He is 36. What is his purpose anymore? Jordy who was/is faster was out of football at 33 and Jordy was playing as well or better than Fitzgerald at the time when the league pulled the plug on him. And the Cardinals have treated Fitzgerald with reverence which is fine. The Packers dumped Jordy like a bag of you know what. And Jordy has a Super Bowl ring and was a key figure in that win.Does Fitzgerald who played in a Super Bowl have a ring? No.

Hell on a talent basis maybe Isabella is more talented at his position than Murray. But who gets to play every snap?

QB Murray at least so far looks like a shaky proposition. Forget that number one pick garbage. That was pure horse crap. Still I can't blame him for Isabella's lack of play. I put that blame on a coach who I had a grave doubts about from the get go. He couldn't even win at Texas Tech why the fascination? I think it is because he is hip to the caste way of life. It would be nice if Isabella gets to flash in their last two meaningless games but I am not holding my breath.

The next two games take on a special significance because a lot of white fringe skill players might have a chance to shine and consolidate their status going into next season. And hopefully Adam Thielen has finally shaken that annoying hamstring injury and gets a chance to show his considerable talents. We have enough problems but when possibly the best WR in the NFL who is white goes down with an injury it is very difficult to swallow.

If I'm NE, I would rest Edelman and other staters if the winning the last remaining games have no impact on their seeding. There are some additional pale faces on the Defense. I still want them to go far, not to mention that Burkhead is getting reps.

Kupp needs to get back to his previous role in the offense. Even if the Rams' season is lost, they need to keep letting their young players get snaps. They have the foundation for a potential Super Bowl team; they just need to add a few more pieces and utilize the ones they have properly. We'll see what Sean McGay* does today with regard to Kupp.

*McGay is going to be the coach's new name until he allows Cooper Kupp back into the role he's rightfully earned

I actually hope the Bucs win today - I believe if the Titans win tomorrow it will force the Texans-titans into a playoff clinching game next week.

This is why it is reported that Edelman will play. If the Pats lose one of their last two games while the Chiefs win out, the Chiefs will become the 2 seed based on head-to-head. Sucks for the Pats, but that's the way it is.

Winston may throw a half dozen picks in this Coal Bowl game. Already penalties galore in front of a near-empty stadium.

The self-important Rich Eisen is a terrible play by play announcer.

Spencer Schnell lined up in the slot for the Bucs, wearing #83. Definitely the Wes Welker effect. Hopefully we’ll see CMac effect at running back in a few years.

Turnover after turnover while Eisen repeatedly exclaims, "What a game!" and "what a wild game!" If it was two White QBs playing the narrative would be starkly different.

Winston threw a long completion to 27 year old Cody McElroy, his first career catch as he was just signed this week. Eisen got all excited, because it gave him another "Rudy" type to mock.

Nice Watson TD! Announcers are treating Jameis with kid gloves, as expected. At least Winston has some white skill players to target.

Looks like I’m missing a lot of amazing upside wrist flick laden ints right now :D

Rumor is the bucs are going to franchise jameezzz - he may hit 30 ints on the season. It’s hilarious that the overrated Watson and the Texans are tired with the bucs at halftime.

I don’t mind rooting for the Bucs. They have a lot of White pass catchers and Crab Legs doesn’t mind targeting them. Winston has tons of flaws and he’ll never be a winner, but it’s kinda fun watching him sling the ball around to White players!

Winston in his 5th season as the number one overall pick has been a pretty big bust - more so than Mariota yet he keeps getting that privileged treatment.

Yea, Watson (the black one) is stinking it up against a poor defense. 60 yards with an into after 1 half of football.

Nate Burleson echoes Eisen's statement that games in which (black) QBs throw lots of picks are "entertaining." Who knew?

I wish Tebow would’ve gotten this type of opportunity.....
Think of Cam and Tim....
Cam got the keys to the city even though he won 5 games a year....
Tim got treated like a plague and was ousted (even though he won)
BS

Yeah he's trash. A white man with his flaws would be out of The League, not allowed to continually throw interception after interception. At halftime they said this is his 11th 3+int game since 2015!!
